This is not my idea but I wanted to get it out here on the forums so it could get some attention. From Reddit:
"Problem: Gear is completely disorganized, while we have to hoard tons of it. I have my PvP gear, my mining luck, PvE luck, Armoring Pieces, Logging etc. It’s a complete mess and you have to literally hover over each piece to find which one you’re looking for.
Solution:
In my house I have like 3 dressers, armoires etc. While none of these items have any actual function what so ever.
What if we were able to put in gear sets and have gear organized within these dressers? You would have to go to your house to swap from your PvP armor to your Harvesting kit etc.
The tier of dresser can determine the amount of sets it can hold.
This seems like a really nice fix for a big problem while utilizing items that are already in the game."
