Bug:
When attempting to sell an item by fulfilling an already existing buy order, AND the item that is in the town storage instead of the character inventory, the transaction will not complete and it comes back as: “Insufficient Items.”
This is a bug, not an exploit. If the character has items in the buy order origin town storage, then the buy order will be fulfilled AND remove that same item count from the town storage instead of the current town storage the character is actually in.
There is nothing to recover from as I can find a work-around.

Highlighting the Obisidan Flux item in my inventory.
Moving 571 out of 572 of the Obsidian Flux into the storage, leaving 1 in character inventory.
Going back to trading post.
Going to active buy orders for Obsidian Flux.
Attempting to fulfill someone’s active Obsidian Flux order located in Brightwood.
*When selecting the 243 quantity and selecting sell, order does not fulfill and reads back: “Insufficient Items.”
**When going back to that same order and selecting only 1 quantity and selecting sell, the order goes through. Obsidian Flux count goes down to 571.

In the current town of Reekwater, I have 11 Silkweave.
Inspecting my Brightwood town storage to see I have 138 Silkweave.
Inspecting my Everfall town storage to see I have 197 Silkweave.
After selling the first buy order of Silkweave, my Everfall storage chest displays 186 remaining.
After selling the next buy order of Silkweave, my Brightwood storage chest displays 127 remaining.
Steps to reproduce bug:
Go to any town.
Have any item in the storage chest and none of that same item in the character’s inventory.
Have that same item in other town storage chests. (The more the better for the purpose of this bug.)
Go to that current town’s trading post.
Select the Sell tab on the top.
Under My Sellable Items, select that item that is in the storage but not in the character inventory.
After selecting the item, attempt to sell the item to an existing buy order in a town that is NOT the same location as the character.
Make sure that there is no similar item in the buy order town’s location storage chest.
Select Sell Now
“Insufficient Items.” error message.
