Just an idea. What if there were limited season Servers that were wiped every 2-3 months and everyone starts from the start again. At the end offer a free Server transfer, but do NOT players to transfer from a normal server to the season servers.
Make it very well known that the Server gets renewed every season and people have to start from scratch.

Why? What benefits do you imagine this would bring to the game?
game has not much content, so people crave to replay every little bit there is
about the whole topic, seasonal servers are a good idea, if the product people are replaying is actually good and worth it
like Classic WoW for example seasonal server make perfekt sense, its an outstanding game with shtloads of content.
but New World is so utterly broken and has so less content and right now only survives because ppl are so invested theyre unable to quit even if everything is broken and nothing to do really.
None of what you typed up there provides any explanation of the benefits of a periodic wipe seasonal server.
im not for seasonal servers, they need to fix this trainwreck first before thinking about that.
And that most likely wont be possible because the games codebase and engine are rotten.
