I don’t understand why this isn’t a thing.
Luckily, with the 1.6.3 update about to drop, the patch notes include the following:
- Reduced the XP curve for the Musical Instrument Trade Skill, lowering the total time it takes to level up.
So hopefully now the grind to 200 for music shouldn’t be as discouraging, only time will tell.
The same here - finished weaponsmithing after the update - and no “Skill-Grandmaster”-Reward.
And this musik thing is the new fishing for me… -.-
achievements have been broken for quiet some time. 200 in everything long before music was introduced, and can not get the title. Read the forums…there have been a lot of complaints about it.
I didn’t get the achievement or the ingame title…
is this a bug? or surely the music skill was added to the archive? @Luxendra
Ohh that is Sad, but i dont Unterstand this high Grind on Music, it should be a Fun thing Not a Grind thing
Its not on the Same Plateau Like the other profession, where u get After Hits lvl 200 chests of Mats that u can use
Thank goodness I didn’t listen to everyone telling me it was pointless to level up my professions before the update when they were nerfing the xp requirements for weaponsmithing and things like that lmao.
That was fixed a while ago. I remember reading about it in some patch notes. I also know because I’ve grinded music to 200 today and finally got the title “skills grandmaster”. So, yes, music does indeed count towards it now.
That was fixed a while ago
Actually is wasn’t. I still have it and so does a friend.
Same thing here. Finally finished weaponsmithing and now see I must grind out music. This is not nice at all. I was hoping this would not be the case when Music was added to its own “casual” category. Come on Amazon, you can do better than this. Fix it so music is not required.
guys please mastering music is a skill just like fishing also you can get it in 4-5 hours on weekends so do it before the event ends
I would agree but my 62 year old arthritic fingers are having a bit of trouble with it.
This definitely helps. I had to buy this sheet as it was the only one in group I didn’t have. Just need another double Xp weekend. Thank you for the pointer.
I disagree. This game rarely rewards people who put more time/effort into the game than others. Titles are one way to reward people that go the extra mile without any actual material benefit. If they change skills grandmaster, they should give folks a legacy title that new players can’t achieve as they add more skills.
Crafting has got significantly easier to get to 200 with reduced XP tables, and way easier to make gold, with more nodes, faster node respawn rates and bonus xp weekends. While I do think these crafting changes are all good for the game, the folks that put more time and effort in early in the game should be rewarded with legacy titles.
Side note, I’ve played probably a max of 5-10 hours of music in game and am already level 176. It’s way easier after the weekly patch that change xp tables. Make sure your always playing your songs on expert. It goes pretty fast now. Especially with all the double xp weekends.
POGGIES gz welcome to the club brother <3 may the spark shine brightly on you
I already had skill grandmaster but after servers merged I lost the title because music was introduced. I had to master music to get it back.
I literally went from 26 to 200 in 2 days probably spent a total of 4 hours playing music. The last 2 hours I actually played in WW at the Townhall and has people join me a long the way making it kinda fun to sit there and jam out. Wasn’t too bad at all.
