Invasion management - request for improvement

I noticed some posts regarding Invasion management and have some ASKs i’d like to share.
Invasion is imo one of the best content regarding territory activities. It’s exciting and challenging.
We win invasion on a regular basis now and managing the roster is key. It’s hard though because some features are missing or are bugged.

I definetly support the fact that Territory owners should be managing the whole roster. Why ?

  1. in case of failure, the governing company supports the whole cost of downgrades where players just take the reward, whether they’re active or not in the event. When you loose T5 stations, cost is huge and it’s hard to compensate.
  2. managing the roster does not mean you won’t involve any other people outside your company. You have probably alliances and it’s a way to reinforce them.
  3. you really don’t want any ‘saboteurs’ in your roster, uncontrolled peeps who take repair parts for instance when they’re not supposed too. That happens every invasion even if you’re cautious.
  4. Invasion is not an event for individual performance. It’s a collective effort to keep the settlement up to date. Hence it’s so important to have the accurate peeps in.
  5. invasion is challenging. Managing the roster to align it just 15 minutes before the event brings a unrequired stress. And for now, roster is completly visual bugged, as we see some characters in 3 copies in it, groups are bugged, some people are missing though we see full groups …
    By the way, fact we can only manage it 15 mn before pushes people to sign up lately. Bringing some more stress.

So my asks would be :

  1. governor and promoted people can manage full roster without this 10 manual limitation, as soon as the invasion is declared and we can sign up. At least, as na opening option, set the limitation to 40, give 10 ‘free seats’ and check 4)
  2. Access to Repair Parts should definetly be granted to named people, chosen by invasion leaders, as part of success strategy. You should be able to give a role in the roster, as it only implies few characters with a strategic role.
  3. reward should be linked to success. Divide by 2 gold and azoth if invasion is lost. Grant peeps a booster for the wave 7 and one extra booster for wave 8. Multiply by 2 at least, the reward in case of win.
  4. 10 seats avaiilable outside the 40 limitations, if outside the faction, character can buy a key accordingly the reward of the invasion. Should be motivating, for instance 100G if the reward is 300G (for a lost one). Key would be bought on sign up register, settlement townboard or in townhall, as the gold should be in the owning company pocket.

Extra ask : i think having an instance like OPR but dedicated to fight corruption, that you can access anytime, would be a very interesting content.
could be hold the point with gathering resources (wood/iron/stone for (gates/ammos/repair), a good balance between different profiles of player. You may link this instance to the corruption level of a territory.

Invasions are currently like this because AGS is not yet clear on the direction that the game should take.
The management of invasions (but also war) is very casual. But the game and therefore the consequences are very HC.

Amazon should make a choice:

  • Make the game casual, leaving the current system, but avoiding so severely punishing the guild that it loses the invasion

(If losing the invasion did not downgrade the structures, but perhaps limited itself to damaging them or giving a temporal debuff on them, therefore something light, then the current, very casual system of managing who has to fight the invasion would be justified, and it would make sense. levels 50 can also be registered.)

  • Make the game HC (given how much it now costs the guild to lose an invasion), and then allow the guild to select only the top players, and exclude the others

(such management should also be done for wars, where you can’t even select a reserve, but if someone crashes, it fills the place with random people)

Also remove the first 20 minutes of the invasion

or at least open a market inside, so my 15 minutes could be useful
