Quick anecdote:

Last Thursday my faction wanted to take Windsward. No upcoming invasion. In a pitched battle, we push the zone for hours but aren’t quite able to get it into a Conflict state before the nightly invasion updates.

We then push the zone over. It now says it has an pending invasion, so we can’t declare war. Except… we can? There’s some kind of bug/interaction/unintuitive mechanic that actually has set the invasion for Sunday instead of Saturday. So … somehow we can declare war (the map says “upcoming war”) on Friday but because of the Sunday(?) invasion, we can’t actually set the war time.

Friday and Saturday comes and goes.

It’s Sunday (today) and the zone still says it has an invasion tonight. I assume after that our war will post for… Monday? Tuesday? You really mean to tell me that we flipped a zone on Thursday and can’t fight the war until Tuesday???
This is quite frustrating!! Windsward makes its controlling company somewhere on the order of 700,000gp per week. (That’s not a typo; I’ll type it out: Seven-hundred thousand gold per week. Or more.)
I would really like for the interaction between invasions and wars to change. Amazon is the largest company on Earth so I’m not going to presume to think up some suggestion you’ve undoubtedly had meetings about already.
I’m just here to express how frustrating the war-invasion time mechanic is. I would like it to change. Thank you,
