Invasions are garbage

There are so many issues with invasions, the game mode is not very fun. We all know of people getting kicked so the roster can be filled with people of their choosing when rng hits. But the whole mode needs an overhaul.

  1. Allow the company controlling the town to select 25 people, and the other 25 or random that cannot be kicked. This allows them to plan a game plan and account for 25 random players to coordinate with.

  2. Make the level requirement 60. Anyone below 60 does not stand a chance and is no help at all. They get hit too hard and do not provide enough dps. This would also help with people getting kicked, but if the above is taken in then kicks wouldnt happen.

  3. Make the Brute/Priest/Spriggan/Commander tauntable. This honestly baffles me on why they can’t be taunted. Once you get to the last two waves, they three/four shot your level 3 gate. At least let us taunt them to stand a chance. Whats the point of tanks being in the invasion if taunt is useless. Might as well go dps to burn them quicker.

  4. The farther in waves you get, the less stuff you loose. Why do you loose the same amount when you make it to the later waves? Whats the point of getting to the later waves if the chance to loose your stuff is the same? Since we know we can’t win, the rewards are not worth the time put in. 350 azoth and 600 gold can be made in the same amount of time. If we are not lowering the amount of stations that get downgraded the mode is pointless unless you can win, which currently doesn’t happen.

  5. If you do not want to do 1,2, and 4, then scale the mobs for the average gear score or levels or some metric to help the mode actually doable with randoms so everyone can do it with a decent chance to win.

TL;DR Game mode is terrible, not fun, waste of time and needs to be changed.

Tanks are totally useless in this game. Only for expeditions they’re good, other than that they have no use. It’s easy to 5 man portals with heavy armor and melee weapon.
