You’re missing the point here. Rolling essentially all con gear gives you the best return on investment.
If I roll 20 resilient heavy chests with constitution, there is a pretty good chance that something is going to pop with a weapon perk that is sell-able. That means heavy or medium sets could both want the gear, plus regardless of the weapon perk that pops, so long as it’s not a glass cannon build, there is a good chance it’s going to be a sell-able piece.
I venture to guess most drop rates for these materials are pretty standard/equivalent it is purely demand driving the con medals up. Which means that it is demand, and the return on investment that is driving the price of con medals up.
The main reason those mods are expensive is because for the most part people ignore killing mobs and looting small chests when doing runs. I mean I do a Reekwater solo run multiple times a day. I always kill the mobs and loot all chests at the POI’s. Most people just run along with a mob train behind them straight to the big chests. I’m always like…cool I get all the mobs since they ignored 'em. I have over 600 pounds of mods…100’s of which are iron battle metals and iron guardsman insignias. When the prices get extra fat my inventory of mods gets a little skinnier. Simple as that.
The main reason is because big guilds have free gold, and when they do crafts 300g is nothing. If citys didnt give that absurd amounts of gold wanna see the prices. Welcome to new world where all features work as intended
Man you really dont want to lose even a little gold per hour from your precious bot impersonation, though i expect your total profit would remain similar even if they trippled the drop rate.
more people that quit, less people that will farm things like this thus prices are high. that and companies that own EF/WW can literally buy out the market on a whim if they so desire since they have unlimited funds to do so. end result, crafting anything decent is so stupidly expensive it’s absurd. i can’t say this is a good design to retain/gain players.
I still think taxes should be reduced as well. I understand big profits, but turning 40% of the taxes into a global tax rate would even split all gold to all territories but the big territories would still net a decent profit for the oncentive of owning them. If a company makes 2m from everfall, they would now make 1.2m plus 4% of all taxes.
sneaky folks already bought up and are reselling split mods for around 10 to 100 gold.
that shit is going to drop fast so get your hype sales in.
(no really though anything that isnt str or con is sub 10 gold right now, and it will drop considering soft wood sap is stupid easy for DEX and focus. INT i dont think there is a consistent source but all these hype prices will crash once people realize you can hit rocks for small quartz crystals.)
thats the thing i didnt see it on the PTR notes but it is in ptr right now. if you notice the prices of items others have also noticed but not said anything yet.
