Iron Guardsman Insignia Prices Out Of Control

oops all the good mods and charms cost and arm and a leg.

cant even use the split mods,

but yeah.

good planning can help out a lot but it only helps soo much when the rest of it is random.

you dont always want weapons perks on every armor piece or need it any more. i think there is a ton of value in the shirking energy and fort so trying to target that is going to get hard no matter how well you plan it.

the best chance to at least get some useful stuff is straight con, and res from the faction shop.

thats what most armorers do.

agreed, but that would only fix it for any secondary attribute to con. The reason people use CON on things like jewelry / chest are because these are so expensive to make and can be mostly universal with CON. As soon as you put any other attribute and you get the wrong perk for the stat, it can become instant trash. It’s bad design.

right its the same issue as getting a naturally dropped legendary heavy pants of the monk with empowered shooting stance, shirking energy and invigorate.

literally worthless.

I’ve got 100’s in my inventory. They’re not that hard to get. People are just burning through them trying to buy their way to BiS. The latter should be extremely difficult to do. Rich companies can already buy too much power and own servers. We don’t need to make that easier.

Agreed, but getting a free drop thats bad is not near the amount of frustration as losing gold on your jewelry when it rolls harvesting luck

i know.

iv rolled quite a bit

quite a bit that came out EXACTLY THE SAME some how.

what are the odds of 4 amys with health and luck at the exact same gear score.

and thats only one instance.

@Luxendra please do something

I went there (Stone Skull Fort), farmed for 45min, got 0. Going to go ahead and call your BS. Even if this were true, that’s still not a great drop rate.

its rng.

i wouldnt really call it farming, just a nice nugget you find while doing stuff you are already doing.

pretty sure more adds you kill the better the chances.

and they drop off everything.

maybe i need to take a peak at the loot pools but even the lowest level mobs drop them iirc.

I have slightly over 500, having used about 40 in crafts. As someone mentioned, they people want them because they can universally sold for crazy amounts of gold.

Crafters are burning through 100s of asmo, runic and mods (insigniasl) … because they sell them for crazy gold and still make bank. Which they then use to rinse and repeat-> driving up the price for average users.

Edit: just read a post of a con amulet selling for 400k. Why shouldnt they be the current price?

Let the market balance itself without AGS price fixing materials.

it wont balance because of one fundimental thing.

there are no new players farming them naturally as they level.

it was abundant in the past simply because as people level and do stuuuuuff they would get it, horde it sell it.

that doesnt exist anymore.

even after timeless it was controlled by the supply.

Thats supply and demand… still balanced, just more pricey.

so not balanced.

all they would have to do is require 3-5 instead of 10 per craft.

They cost 500g last night on Camelot.

Balanced doesnt mean cheap or pricey, just on how much supply/demand there is

Easiest solution is to just convert all of the hybrid stat craft mods into their dominant stat.

For example, all of the CON/STR craft mods should just become Iron Guardsman Insignias.

Obviously, the drop table needs to change; but I think most people would be glad if we were to just remove these useless craft mods from them.

… easiest is to let them be used as a hybrid stat as listed in their description.

and they are still rich enough to place buy order for them at over 78k a stack

On my sv they were 300+ for the last 2 months and they have been slowly climbing in value. People are selling them for more then 500g, while Asmodeum is 330g.
