Running around in a circle to gain weapon xp in a low level mob area is not a banable offense. Having a bot running around in circles to get your weapon xp is banable.
I would not worry too much on the forums. Just follow the TOS and only state facts or your opinions about the game and not make it personal you “should be fine”. Post a message about a dev’s bookmark history and you might be banned… @Luxendra seriously… whats up with that cat video history?
I believe people were getting flagged by the Anticheat for leveling their weapons “too fast” in this area but I only heard about this in the first month after release. I believe it is fine now. I leveled my FS/IG from 10-20 in maybe 2 hours there and I had no issues.

Forgive me I’ll type slow so you might understand. Just because a ban hit someone as they were doing activity x does not mean activity x was the reason for their ban.

You get no explanation. Means, you cannot Avoid anything for Future playing. The only Option is to stop playing. Because the flag is forever. Next Time you do anything you are banned, I assume. And Every Minute invested is gone.

Amazon Knows that there will be excessive weapon skilling.
Amazon knows bugs which will obviously Trigger during skilling.
Amazon ist Not Warning beforehand, But afterwards With an unremovable flag.

If you know Bugs, fix them. Or let Players just know instead flagging them as Cheater. Flag them as Cheater, when They do Not Stop, After you told them to stop.
Make flags temporary. Delete the flag After 1 Month or 2.
We all Want to have Great Gaming experience. Please dont discourage Players in telling them they are Cheater.
Population decreased. I was one of the First Players. Did. Not know anything About exploits and Cheats. Until you Flagged me cheating. I was Running Like a bezerk in restlessshore 45 Elite Location. One mob After the Other. You Forced me to do this because of xp boost Limited Time. The Game is about Hack and slash. And Now I am a cheater?

I got a feeling that people who got « banned « for this weapon exploit also did the dupe bug so they get the big hammer

No. As Said, I am an honest Player. Did Not take care and notice of any Bugs, cheats and exploits. Of Course I Read about coin dups, as they were Part of Patch Description.
In german Forum, some says it might be a respawn exploit, I ran Into. But Hard to detect as Player, when you run around just Looking for Mobs to kill.
After Reading about respawn exploit, I ask Amazon: How Should an honest Player know about such Thing? I am Not a Kid, probably one of the oldest Players around. I do Not want to impress class mates. I Want to have Fun in Ma one. And I dont like cheating. I was First Player with online ascii Dungeon Games with 2400 baud Modem. I was there when such Games evolved. I spent days, Weeks, Months.

No. I am Not banned. I am cheat-Flagged. It is a non removable Warning flag.
Next Time I find a bug on My Own, I probably get banned.
It is Hard to feel Enthusiam for this Game anymore. Will definitely change, if Amazon makes a flag temp. Then I would just Pause and Return.

I did the pirates leveling up,
and then always used deadman cave(elites) for leveling weapons xp, its the best place from the start of the game.
They would have fixed the respawn if it was bannable
It Popped up While I was still skilling there. I skilled Void Gauntlet there. It is an extra Window with an ok Button.
Before I skilled rapier and BB at a northern non Elite Pirate Location.
I got to the Elite 45 Location By accident. It was just a thought, it I could skill faster with Elite. I could Not with BB, Because I had no ammo. But with Void I noticed it worked reale good.

Elite Pirates was too Full. No mobs left for me. Too Long wait for respawn
Rapier and BB I did on non Elite pirate restlessshore
in 1 hour and half i got two weapon at 20 and a third at 14 before calling it a day. PvP on and Alone.
no warning showed up, so im wondering what it cause that to trigger it.
This is pretty fast. For me it took several Hours.
As Said, a respawn bug, they mentioned in german Forum, likely makes Sense.
When I understood correctly, if you pull a Boss out of his Chamber and kill it elsewhere, the Boss Instantly respawns.
If so, I have Not noticed.
And I do Not really See an advantage out of this. Is this Because there might be 50 xp More?
And I Remember only one Scene, where I ran away Because I was too low on Health. I ran out where other players Killed it.

I dont understand , Amazon knows about this area, which makes Players Even banned. Why they accept this? Bugs are Made By Amazon. If they know them, they have to put a Warning at the Elite entrance or whatever….
Yes, actually there was. A streamer was banned for milking a cow at launch. It was a mistake and fixed but it did happen.
