i liked the idea when u dropped it on the ptr it just wasnt finished at that point… Are u still working on a good Solution or is it off the table ?

can you elaborate what do you mean by this? I’m not sure I quite understand what you mean by dual stats or how is it a problem…
Lets say like 4-5 month ago there was patch on the ptr that changed the stat system. Items(GS600) with splitstats like 15Int 10 Str got changed to 21 INT and 10 STR but this system got removed because it wasnt finished on the ptr things like crafting and drops was missing.
The Stats are just an example.

Don’t think dual stats will ever come out, because it makes already powerful weapons such as hatchet and spear too good.
It would have given them another extra 50 points.
Hatchet and spear is already the meta in pve. It would just produce even more gap between this and a weapon such as fire staff which would really be left behind.
Yeah, they would probably have to adjust weapon scaling for dual stat weapons. But it would allow to play certain weapon combos more effectively.

the extra points don’t really make other builds more viable.
50 points extra doesn’t make a bad build to a good build when you go with completely different scaling weapons.
also it’s not possible to craft these things which would not only be a balancing issues for double scaling weapons, also for the players they’d have to recraft everything without the use of timeless shards to get their BIS Gear.
So there were no Benefits
Only People who would’ve to craft all new gear without timeless shards
and balancing issues for hatchet, spear, musket etc.
like they buffed these classesn, but only if they afforded to invest million of coins to craft random gear so they get their benefits from splitstat.
if they really want people to spec into attributes that doesn’t scale with their weapons, the perks need to be Wway better than stuff like fucking 10% crit chance, when most weapons don’t even habe viable crit builds anymore. It’s just a joke.
