Noobish question that I could probably answer by upgrading a named epic below 590 but I’m not exactly rolling in umbral shards 
Does anyone have experience upgrading named epics that were lower than 590?
must be named item and above 590 to be able to get third perk once upgraded to 600 gs. if not sure if something is named item, sometimes they are glowing, but if an older named item can look it up on third party sites like nwdb.com
Yes except for shields they’ll always be purple
That’s too bad. They should do it so that any upgradable epic gets the extra affix at 600.
With the huge RNG pool for main stats and perks, when something drops with the extremely rare combination of good perks, especially with skill-specific perks, it just seems like such a waste, almost like RNGesus is trolling us lol.
