I mean I play two builds of tank, one is paladin for solo tanking in the world and heavy constitution tank for dungeons, paying 500golds for respec feels really expensive. It’s nice to be able to play all roles, classes, builds but it’s hard to play everything you want, if fee is this big. Thoughts?

to be honest, it feels right.
Then the alternative should be free re-specs, which I don’t mind either.
I see the respecing a non-issue, unless they make it crazy high like 2000g or something.
Believe it or not, it was 2000 in the Alpha before they changed it. And now with 500 it is still way too much. They put months and months of work into creating a classless system that allows you to switch between any spec at any time and put a gold cost in there to completely invalidate the whole point of that system.
I’d like to play a Mage DD in PvP and Healer in PvE, however I’d be a poor man if I would constantly respec. Poor decisions wherever you look for this game.

2000 would be a bit high rn because gold is so hard to come by.
Maybe the repair cost should scale with the average amount of gold each player has?
It should simply be 100 Azoth or something around that. It shouldn’t cost us an arm and a leg to switch builds.

the end game right now for me is to test different builds.

Yes, it is absurdly high and makes no sense; especially considering the poor economy and severe lack of gold. The money sinks in this game are way out of line with the ability to make coin.
