Is there a perk/way to heal based off damage? (Ice Gauntlet/Fire Staff for example)

Been doing some googling today, trying to find out if there is a perk that would allow me to heal the part based off damage that I’m doing? Wondering if there is a way to slot Ice Gauntlet or Fire Staff with my Life Staff to heal the party while in damage mode.
Thinking of using an AOE ice ability and healing based off of that, or some buff that I could put on the party so that they do some life syphon on the damage that they do.
If you have any tips, please let me know.

VG tree perk has some of these and pairs well with LS. For FS/IG I think the only perk that i can think of atm is Lifestealing and from what I remember it doesnt Proc off of Damage over time, making and AOE from the FS/IG not work with lifestealing. Cool rabbithole and hope you find something that works for you

VG is pretty good for what you’re trying to do. I normally run LS/VG and on a good group you can do pretty decent damage, only using the LS to pre-heal/fortify and on critical moments.

On VG, I’m running Void Blade, Oblivion and Essence Rupture (not sure if Orb is better, need to test further), with the left tree master perk. Once the perk procs (every 20s) it heals almost like a beacon, and if you keep Essence Rupture on, you can keep everyone HP full without any problem. It gets tricky when there’s a lot of mobs, because the monster you apply the Essence will die quicky, so maybe Orb is better is these situations.

You just need to be careful because you’ll be meleeing in light armor, so your HP will go down fast, but most of the time the lifesteal is enough to keep you alive.

Not sure how it goes on higher mutations, since I’m only doing normal dungeons atm.

Thanks, and also to @Beehtoken for the replies, gives me some things to think about.
Personally, I’d love to be able to apply a buff to the party so that the damage they do, then heals them a little bit, I see the perk that gives that to the individual, but hopefully we’ll see something come in that would allow me to buff the party in such a way.

LS/VG, but you don’t deal damage.
Use essence rupture on the VG, i tested it up to 250int-150foc so you can provide some damage output.
LS for fortify buffs, you need some pieces that max the healing output (as you would do as classic healer).
VG with blade, orb and rupture for all-around-support. Leave the oblivion to a mage. If there’s a tank that needs stamina, pop a sacred ground.

If you wanna do further damage you have to either change orb for tether. It always depends on the party composition. If there’s another main healer, you can go full VG damage with blade, oblivion/rupture and tether. If you are the healer, well, read above. If most of the party are rangeds and you are the only healer, rupture is a good clutch for healing as they will constantly recover based on their damage, so you don’t have to swap LS/VG constantly, it’s somehow sustainable, or at least, you don’t have to swap every 2 seconds for some healing.
You can configure now the GUI to show you how much HP you recover with damage so give it a try, prior latest patch, if the number was >5% of your HP it was not shown (as to avoid visual spamming) but that can be tweaked now.
