Is there any point reporting the bots? You do love the bots AGS, right?

please … how many time do we need to report bots with “Bot Beavior” option to get them removed from the game?

There is nothing that you can do about it? They ruining the other players gameplay, the econnomy, do i have to point out that the main sellout of the game was a player driven econnomy … underline the word PLAYER?

Well, if I report bots, it will automatically move them to my blocked players list, so I can keep track of how often they are online and what level they are. The active fishbot just hit 59 yesterday, the less active one (but the one more exploiting is 46).

Strangely enough, goldselling spammers have been offline for some time at level 1.

In another thread, I’ve suggested a way of randomising locations of nodes which would increase the time for a bot to find them - although somebody suggested that modern bots are guided optically and wouldn’t be fooled by that trick.

The problem is that if human beings have to investigate every player marked with bot behaviour it would take too long. There needs to be a mathematical way to fix this, or a player-driven way where a real human can identify themselves whereas a bot couldn’t.
I joked about using CAPTCHA elsewhere, but there has to be a better solution… still pondering.

i’ve been reporting the same bot for 3 months now, he’s still botting

If it is a player driven economy then maybe it would be a start to just post the name of the chars who post the goods in trading post. And highlight the name if it is in my blocked list … it would be much appreciated.

Me, for sure, will not buy a good posted by a bot, if i know it is a bot and added in my blocked list.
