Is there any PVP activity for players under level 60?

I’m new in the game, I downloaded it four days ago. I’m already in a faction, but I don’t see anyone flagged to fight.

Players close to my level (21) are almost zero. The starter zones are almost empty.
I created at least 3 different characters to see if it was my specific area that was so empty, but the only thing outside the starting cities are players without faction level 45+ farming mobs like crazy.

I do faction missions to see if I can find people to PVP with, but the quest zones are always empty. I have stayed there for even a whole hour waiting for someone from the opposite faction to arrive, but nothing.

I can’t join wars because level 60 is required.

When the fort is being attacked I try to go help, but there are only level 60 players who kill me just by looking at me LOL

Am I missing something? Any way to scale to level 60 with a potion or something?

where are the arenas? or at least instances to pvp at my lvl?

How can I fight other players in the open world without having to grind quests and mobs like crazy to get to level 60?

I really won’t be able to test the combat system until I’m level 60?, is this a joke?

Those level 45+ players you see are most likely bots and there’s not that much PvP content going on at lvl 60. It can take hours before you get in the outpost rush match and those are not fun because of people just not taking it seriously. Most people are not invited to wars because companies attacking or defending want the best players with the best gear for obvious reasons. My honest opinion is to wait for the game release if you want more PvP content.

Nope AGS has the same mindset as most other ill-received PvE grinder MMO Devs. That PvP should only be available to endgame players with endgame gear. That everyone else just needs to grind 2 hours of boring PvE content. For hundreds if not thousands of hours. Before they are allowed have some fun in PvP.

So you’ll either get to grinding PvE content for 5+ hours everyday for 3 to 5 months. Or you’ll get to be fodder for those who have. Or you will leave this game. And go play one of the older well-received horizontal progression MMO. That don’t require you to grind your life away to have fun.

Yes, you can run from level 60s

yeah, thats something super fun to do… already happen. Even at lvl 10 I couldn’t even draw my sword out.

On the steam page it doesn’t say early access, the game is already released, or am I wrong?

Oh sorry, my mistake, I thought it was still on testing phase considering the amount of bugs and lack of content.

Well I would still give the game some time and wait for changes. If I started playing the game right now, I would casually grind towards level 60 and wait for new content and catch up mechanics. It took me hundreds of hours to grind expertise so I can use the best gear available and be competitive in PvP scene. I would not advice doing the same because it’s extremely repetitive, exhausting and generally not a fun experience.

I just noticed that there are faction quest that can be done while unflagged? are you insane? this means that staying flagged has no sense. I can have all faction gear unflagged, I’m correct? So… what’s the point? I don’t even notice any luck, nor a huge impact in farming when flagged. So… that option is just for fun? Of course I will not find any flagged player BECAUSE IS UNNECESSARY!

At least I can be PK and attack other factions anyways, wait I can’t… How do you expect me to get good with my weapons or learn whether or not it’s a good build if I won’t have fights until level 60?

Today I plucked up the courage and try to take some forts and no one showed up. WTF? No one? That means the benefit of running to defend the fort is not worth the trip. How could you build a game so poorly?

Jesus christ this game seems to be created by 5 teenagers in a basement, this is so disappointing

World Faction Quests only give like 300 tokens I think.

PvP Faction quests at the high level zone give 1,500 faction tokens. (still going to take you hours and hours and hours and hours to farm 50k tokens though)

No, there is pvp for under 60lv players. Open world pvp id dead.

You started playing the game when 90% of player base is level 60,everyone play pvp in opr and WARS now, btw an open pvp would destroy you because you don’ t have experience, gears, and you’re not same level. It’s like trying defeat a lvl 60 mob being level 20.

We all spent 400h at least to get lvl 60, but few friends of mine got lvl 60 in 7 days doing some specific activities in group of 5 like portals. They also have multiple characters at 60 in diff. Servers so it’s not hard to hit 60 if u know what to do for it.

It’s an MMO so don’t expect to start the game then press Battle like Fortnite or PUBG COD… for pvp. I Come from the elite of COD and Battlefield. I was more than 5kd player and new world is my first mmo.

Missions to get level 60 were time consuming, really boring but at the end I love what can i do now: wars, opr, dungeons, elite… nothing here is for solo players btw, you need a company, they will help u and carry you to 60 very quick.

In the run from 1 to 60 i had a lot of open pvp in every zone of the game because people were all flagged for missions exp, to take forts… now they do not need it except for orichalcum farming (myrkgard elite zones lvl 60) , magnetite farming, open pvp missions to declare war but here u find zerg of 50v50 all lvl 60+ ( + meaning 610gs likely ) . You just came late bro.

So the best you can do to play elite pvp everyday like wars open pvp to declare or open pvp while farming is reaching lvl 60 playing with a good company.

  • Join big company guild. Cannot? TRANSFER SERVER to the highest population one.
  • let them carry you for portals
  • 5 days to lvl 60
  • start to play dungeons expedition
  • increase your expertise
  • training with them playing open pvp, duels.
  • Game is not for solos which are new to MMO or not good enough at the game. I was solo at the start but i also was a pro, i knew all game mechanics even at level 30. Having 200k gold. Not everyone is like this so i understand. So play with friends and teams. meet new friends. I changed server, i changed faction 3 times and i met thousands people. I actually play wars, pvp duels opr etc… is just matter of time.

Get 60.

Well maybe he could get to 60 better if there was lowbie version of OPR that gave him exp for playing and helped him level up instead of get bored and log out.

Yeah…It seems that this game has no content for new players. It seems like everyone has been in a full speed rush to level 60 ever since the game launched and now they’re all at the top and no new players are coming.

That’s not to mention the stupid and boring mechanic of leaving the best functionality exclusively for the final level.

I don’t think I have the mental stamina to do all that PVE, grind, kill the same zombies, same boars for 3 or more months only to start trying PVP there. (Without considering that this PVP seems to be broken by the comments I read in the forum)

The videos on youtube about open world pvp, traveling and finding flagged players looked spectacular, wars looked spectacular, I never thought that now, they are exclusive for the last level due to the lack of flagged players at low lvl.

That’s so bad, it frustrates me so much

As I wrote you before, some friends got lvl 60 in few days. You just need a good guild of 50 players active which can help you doing some grind. Everyone grinded , then the game is spectacular 100%, i love wars, open pvp 50v50, opr, WEAPON balance are always hard to do it, when we cry we do it for that, like everygame, or for example bugs, umbral shards still not being available for pvp… stuff like that, but the game is very fun at elite level. You just need to reach it, solo is not good atm. You need a GUILD, company with players which help u, that’s it. they will give you gears for free, coins, help… in my guild i get stuff for free coz we have territory and income.

probably the best way to get to 60, unfortunately, is to get one or couple of your gathering skills to 175 and use the town board to get massive amounts of exp. Save up at least 10,000 gold to buy stuff and instant level up using the town board. It sucks but thats how I leveled up fast.

I find the fact of having to wait until level 60 to be able to enjoy PVP a huge design error. Especially if after that level you have nothing else to do.

That is the reason for the low retention of the game, new world must be losing 60% of the players reaching level 60 because there is nothing after and the PVP gets tedious and repetitive afterwards, just like in ESO. I played Cyrodill for 5 weeks and got bored.

When will they learn that the fun is in the progress? that the PVP functionalities must exist from level 10.

Try a gear, a build and lose, adjust it and win, like this at each level. That’s where the fun is. That should be the reason for all the PVE content

You are right. I remember thinking when I was level 20, “Man its so stupid that there is not a low level battleground or OPR” Although now days it would be hard to fill the game and start it. They would have to make a brand new smaller battleground.

Some good pvp on the trading post and global. But hardly any new players. Mostly just re-rolls.

Haha, there aren’t even PvP activities for people at lvl 60. Wars are unplayable and nobody queues OPR anymore.
