Is there anyone on earth trying to not complain about this game?

i love this game i just dont like how they restrict us in servers server hoping unlimited maybe we can only do it once a week or somthing should have been on day one beside that all other issues are small and it seems like there on those

I enjoy the game, there is a lot they can improve.

Welcome to the internet and forums. Go check out the WoW forums and other mmo ones. It is mostly all about complaining threads. People who are happy don’t really post on the forums.

Don’t like all the complaining then don’t open threads that are obviously complaining threads. No one is forcing you to.

We’ve ported over as a guild from other games to give New World a spin… with a 90% (ish) satisfaction-so-far rating. Time will tell… but atm we’re just getting along and having fun without the need to come to the forums and complain… even about queues.

I think they have done a pretty good job with the game and release. Definitely one of the smoother roll outs I have seen for a MMO. Haven’t tried any PVP yet but hopefully I will before they start swinging the nerf bat

If you want a legitimate discussion, you can’t get one without complaints. Now, there are reasonable and unreasonable issues. Things like “I want X quality of life system I had in another game, and this game is terrible because it’s not here already” is unreasonable. Gripes about queues, bugs, crashes and the like are completely fair.

I want to love this game. There are many aspects I adore and want to experience to the fullest, while there are issues that make it miserable. Queue times being a big one. I got on my character on launch with about a 20 minute wait. Hit level 30 the first day, logged and realized queue times were upwards of 10 hours on a non-streamer server.

That is a failure on development and infrastructure side. Am I to be expected to abandon the character and company I’m already invested in to hope I can get to another server:? No. Am I angry, absolutely. Do I get pissed when my client randomly crashes during peak hours and I try to relog with 3K people ahead of me? Yes.

So, while I understand your point of “Quit complaining”, the answer is no. Developers have become lazy. They need to be called out on it, and users like yourself do nothing but lessen the severity of their shortcomings and failures. Trying to calm people down, or downplay legitimate issues because you don’t want to see it, or think it’s just fine doesn’t solve the issue. It’s forcing people into denial to suit your wants, your perfect envisioned world. It does nothing but give the devs a free pass to fix nothing.

This is the best game on market at a release date with not so much bugs than others did, i still played games with 10 years old and still having way more bugs than this one , and actually not even game breaking bugs, just bugs that can get you on nerves, like a swtich weapon not working for 2 mns, or some sound bugs, or even some movement bugs etc, but nothing game breaking and unplayable. Patience is a must with everything, and i guess people are losing patience over the years , being more and more harrassing and not patient, wanting things done quick RIGHT NOW, but life is doesnt work as they want . This game is amazing, devs are working hard, we saw MANY MANY things evolving since alpha and betas, its just being better and better, hopefully they are working and we see it, only delusional people frustrating over things quickly wont see it, I see it . Thank to the devs for giving us such a beautiful game, and we are more than happy to give you feedback for fixing things up .

it does have a good potential, im having fun aswell, tbh i dont like to run that much, bu yea is a cool game…

If you’re complaining about complainers, welcome to MMORPG’s! I hope you enjoy your time here.

I’m starting to get a real WoW forums kind of vibe here

This game is great. Just leveling right along. Taking my time. Enjoying the scenery. Wandering around collecting and hunting all the things. Crafting and making all the things I can. Playing the market with the stuff I make all myself. Running all over questing here and there. Meeting new folks and helping out friends. Running about doing some friendly scuffling with other faction’s folks. Going into missions (dungeons) with new and old friends to defeat enemies and collect loot. All in all just having a blast.

People paid for a product that is full of bugs. They have all the right to complain in order to make it better, considering they have expressed their feelings since alpha

I’m a software dev. So yeah, the times I’ve heard the but you only have to paint one button, it surely can’t take you more than a couple of minutes about a change that implies backend, database, and front end changes is too damn high

Not everyone is complaining. For some learning new things is not going so smooth, and others would like to see things different, without realising that things need time. The game just released and the biggest complain was the queue, but that was a logic consequence of everyone being excited.

I like fishing

I think the detractors are here on purpose to review/return the game, or to post on the forums… mostly because they may have/continue to see players on their local game, flocking here.

Just my two cents, thoughts on that.

I’m having fun but I’m super casual and don’t pvp so maybe I don’t care about a lot of the things people are complaining about. I was a bit disappointed that the main story quest forces me to do a dungeon since I am a solo player and I don’t care to group or do dungeons. It’s not enough to make me quit though,

I’ll say the same thing I’ve always said.

It’s a good game. Worth the money.

I just think they made a mistake when they moved away from skill-based combat back in December. Combat is shallow now and while anyone can nitpick anything, I think that’s a major gameplay issue since it’s one of the main things players will partake in while they play.

It was hard watching combat get dumbed-down through game’s development.

This is how gaming forums go. Full of miserable people who complain. I’m here for news or actual discussion, but you have to filter through the trash to find it

I love this game! Sucks not being able to play with friends right away but I know Amazon is working on that I’m just being impatient. But tbh I just sit in a Discord with them and work on my character so when it is time to transfer over, I’m good to go and jump in immediately! Overall game looks good for only being out a short time with such an overload of people playing.
