Im pretty new trophy chest runner, and i asked few people on chest runs for tips, when i had problem with looting trophy items. One guy told me, that his chest runs were very bad, while he had equiped pearls in gear. I also removed pearls, but this didnt changed anything. I asked some other guy, he told me, that i should turn off pvp(all my unlucky chest runs were pvp on). I tested it out, after unlucky and unsuccesful runs. Started 3 runs with pvp off, pure resin, sureveyor tools, and loaded dice. Well… I want to ask here people who do trophy runs, and they are succeful in it: do you run pvp on or off, do you equip perals, do you use full luck set and trophies? Please give me some tips.
It’s all a numbers game… not the luck… the sheer volume of chests you need to open. The percentage drop chance is miniscule to begin with. It’s all RNG and RNG is RNG. I’ve seen people pull trophies one after the other without luck at all. I’ve seen folks who ran days of chest runs with tropies and gear get nothing. I’ve seen a lot in between and a lot of frustrated people like yourself trying to find a silver bullet.
The silver bullet is just keep opening chests. Be sure your opening the correct ones only certain ones have trophy mats in them.

Minor Loot Luck Trophy +50 Luck (0.5%)
Basic Loot Luck Trophy +100 Luck (1.0%)
Major Loot Luck Trophy +150 Luck (1.5%)
I think they forgot to add a 0 behind that number, because those trophies are horrible.
Having activated PvP gives you +1000 Luck (10%)
You can use Chunk of Adderstone when crafting armor to get around +250 Luck (2.5%) per armor piece. And add Pristine Pearl +50 Luck (0.5%) on every slot.
Full Armor set with Luck and Pearls +1500 Luck
PvP Toggled +1000 Luck
3x Major Trophies +450 Luck
You can even push it further by having Luck on your 2 Weapons and with Pearls, also have Luck on Accessories and with Pearls…
