Is this an AGS Troll post?

If they have 10% the amount of dormant players as, say, Orofena… Then maybe?

They just need to kick any dormant players off to the lowest populated server.

It’s not right to punish players wanting to play the game RIGHT NOW, to give priority to players who don’t want to play the game currently.

That’s worth discussing.

I think … transparency is really what we’re looking for first.

The server structure is a huge problem in this game.

Maramma had a number of worlds folded into it… There is a chance that the players who have not played in 9 months might come back.

Just like I play valhalla we have a massive number of dead accounts that could come back to the server at anytime.

So it makes sense to punish new players who bought the game to play with their friends, because of “dead” accounts?

AGS needs to move those dead accounts to a low pop server!

You really can’t grasp the concept of they WON’T KNOW until like 3 weeks after the Fresh start servers?
Don’t count on any reopening etc. before December

Thats extremely concerning if that’s the case. Every day the knife digs deeper, telling me to uninstall this game.

They never should have merge them in the first place that is the problem. For example 2/3 of my company left back in Dec/Jan, most of them are planing to try brimstone after they run through the current Diablo 3 season(we all bought the game at the same time and signed up for the same server for a reason)… I even left for a while and came back.

The game just has some issues like gathering with the new server cap is hard, and until they address the gathering problem I can’t see them bumping the cap higher… Bumping the cap to 5k players per server is the real solution but with the fact we don’t have instanced nodes it will break the game for a lot of people.

What a bunch of bs.
The game had over 150servers with a under 800ppl pop where you were lucky to hit OPR maybe once a week.

They can’t just open up servers and they won’t. And how people can’t understand that is quite beyond me.
200ppl over cap on peaktimes could mean every day a 2-3h queue to login after 4pm.
If the game actually gets hyped somehow and you’d have a 500-1k queue you could potentially forget to play for the entire month after Brimstone release
Most people who played before have 2 free transfers left, and even if not. God just buy one to play with your mates

Now thats BS, Olympus yesterday had over 100 in queue and it was less than 10 minutes.

If they didn’t close all the servers and just gave transfer tokens, there would be low pop servers with the dormant accounts, and higher pop servers with current players. This would allow the low pop servers to boom from returning players, and not destroy the current good servers for current players.

AGS created this issue, and now they are using the issue as an excuse to not let me enjoy this game with my friends

Yeah you where lucky to hit once a week OPR because OPR sucks… It as the OPR people that cried for the merges, and now are crying to unlock, but if the game mode could not make because 40 people did not want to play at the same time who cares… It would have been better to just allow cross server instanced game play, that would have fixed the problem without a merge…

After the last big update we had queue of over 1500 people at times that is when they opened up new servers.

i’m in a company with 25+ players that i’ve played with for over a year. You really expect us to all pay $15? Spend over $400 just to let one of my friends play with us??

Really?

yeap the server transfer cost is too high to transfer a company, you are correct about that.

This game won’t change into channels cause you’d have to revamp the whole territory and fort control lol.
If you play for over a year how are you not even understanding the issue.
And just cause right now where people login for maybe 20m a 200queue goes fast doesn’t mean that on Brimstone release when people might play actually it won’t be a struggle. Not to mention the sh1t AGS get for even having any queues.
And rn noone knows if the game will stay at like a 50k active pop or might jump to a 150k.
Or maybe it will drop to 30k in a month anyway which is more likely.
But for the next month you can forget that they will open anything

And the opr was just an example. We couldn’t even run Myrkgard on our server unless we planned ahead with another company lol. You had prolly 100 servers with a under 400player population, and prob another 50 with under 800. Not to mention that 1/5th of those were likely bots

How on earth can u really say “oh we shouldn’t have merged in the first place”
The game was literally dead unless you were on those 4 top servers per region lol
Unless you enjoy a empty npc world just so you can hit E on nodes without competition, there’s no way to really call that an mmo experience at that point.

The post is most likely based on the characters that are backlogged on the server from merges. Servers with a lot of servers merged into them will be at a higher risk when those players return to the game.

Nysa on EU has around 70 Servers merged into them, making it extremely likely that this server will have insane queues once players return for the Brimstone patch.

those characters whose been merged to old servers should have been moved to new server.

they can like filter these character by activity, if last login was before the merge, then they should have been moved. this will free up the world by those active player.

They need to address the actual issue: the server structure.

It’s doesn’t work with players coming and going. They need to either figure out a way to allow for wars and territory ownership in a mega structure system or create overflow servers.

90% of players don’t give a poop about wars.

i suggest reading that small text under graphics

I made this post after seeing it on 10/10, using data from 10/10. And They locked Olympus today, like i implied should have been the case.

Based off yesterday’s data, Olympus should have been in the highest risk category, not medium risk, and was what prompted me to make this whole post.

My suggestion back to you is to improve your reading comprehension skills.

You do realize that AGS’ real world data is more real than your real world data because they can see the real data on the real servers?
