Is that why I had that amulet? It wouldn’t go away. I think I finally destroyed it. It is so lame. I actually held it for along time thinking I would need it for some storyline or something.

You can still get rid of it by destroying it. I dont remember how but I was able to get rid of it not long after I received it. The answer was here on the forums somewhere.

i agree that a housing item would allow players to display their status as preorders. the other options would be a title, a unique dye color a unique skin or a unique emote.

If it scaled with level, the lost bane perk might actually be nice on the amulet since it’s not common to have a weapon perk on amulets.
Kinda like the Lifestealing on the amulets;
But, not worth the trade offs at endgame.
I agree with @smoke
The item is virtually useless as is, and making it a different color is totally meaningless, and in fact a weird thing to even do/patch.

As highlighted above, they took an Uncommon (Green) rarity item, broke it in an update to Uncommon (Grey) rarity, and then patched it to Epic (Purple) rarity. They did this for “reflecting its importance… …in lore”
All the while keeping the flavor text “Legendary amulet”
That would be cool if like we could put it in a display case and put it on our fireplace hearth or something. Or MAYBE, Add and ULTRA UBER RARE trophy drop that can combine with the pre order amulet and become like a +1% dmg to all things across the board + luck or something to that effect. Something that makes it feel meaningful.
Didn’t we already get those things with pre-order? 
Though most of them look like they’re still accessible via the deluxe edition purchase.
Except the Expedition One title.

Honestly a big let down on the preorder skins too. They got recolored for the wheel of time skins and they are easily dwarfed by any new skins coming out now. Pre ordering was a joke

guys who buy this pre-order get extra dmg for LOST its good i think +amulet in the extra slot, the eyes burned like Isabella’s (carefully choose the color of the eye illumination)
Pre order didn’t come with any skins.
The amulet, in my opinion, was a focal point of preordering. No one knew what to expect.
It has the same icon as the unreleased amulet below. Which makes me wonder if it was a thought to maybe upgrade it, but they never put in the functionality. The amulet below also is unique in that it has a weapon skill on amulet ( mortal energy )
The woodland skins were pre order bonus no?

It becomes obsolete at level 8… that’s like 20 minutes after you create the character.

Bump. Doesn’t seem like anything on the PTR relates to the amulet.
Almost 1yr anniversary, still hoping they decide to do something else with it one day.
