I’d understand if there was some language localization/translation mishap but this is the English language. Many words have the same spelling or pronunciation but different definition.
You don’t deal with racist players by nerfing language in this case. You ban them separately for racist actions. Report them.
Do you expect Amazon to change every title and written element across all language localizations that someone can skew to be racist? No, you don’t. Why? Because you know it’s unreasonable and ineffective way to deal with negative human behavior.
By the way we Turkish people calls Egypt as Mısır. Which means ‘Corn’ And Eghyptians as Mısırlı, which means Cornish.

Dude you say that because you don’t know any Turkish, who’s just random person. like other players. Because they dont act like Turkish, and they dont mention about their nationality if you not specifically ask them.
There are lot of Turkish players, just playing the game like any other. However they even dont participate with Turkish groups, since they dont like them as well.
For me i never told that i am Turkish in any game, to the other Turkish guy. And never talk Turkish or choose name in Turkish.
My point is, not all Turkish are same, and actually lot of them are just like any european player. However toxic Turkish players are well organized. This is why you always face with toxic Turks.
So i agree they are very toxic and agressive, but be sure they are the same in real world as well.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing bullying and hate in a video game (I’m shocked - sarcasm), but I’m going to let you and everyone else in this thread in on a little secret. And excuse my language, but I feel like in this case it’s appropriate:
Changing titles, or emotes, or anything else isn’t going to stop people from being assholes. If you remove it, they’re just going to find another way to behave like that because… they’re assholes. That’s just the way it is when the anonymity of the internet protects you from real consequences.

Just wanting to put this out there that name references isn’t made with racist intent by developers. If people get touchy over it, they should probably unplug their internet cable and play offline games.
Take Final Fantasy VII for example.
In that game there’s a group called ‘The Turks’.
The Turks is a nickname for the Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department . To the people of Midgar, the Turks is a name uttered in hushed tones. Essentially, the Turks are the black-ops section of Shinra’s military, sent out to do the dirty work.
In this day and age though, i’m fairly certain that if Final Fantasy VII released today, people would shout ‘racism’.
We’re not evolving, the human race is devolving into a SJW type of race where everyone takes offense to anything.
Direct insults is one thing but name references is another thing. Using titles as an excuse to pull the racism card is a good example of this. Instead of removing the title they need to deal with the people using it as an insult. Nothing good ever comes from changing titles, name references etc.
Just look at what happened to a lot of companie’s identities over the past 3 years, where some had to change their entire branding due to name references. Simply because some people took offense. The same people who took offense weren’t even born when said companies were started.
In my own country, old texts and entire pages from books, company identities and such that have been around for 60-100 years were changed because of the SJW anti racism nonsense we see today.
When a 25 year old takes offense because of a company identity that has been around for e.g 75 years (50 years before they were even born!), and sparks an ‘outrage’, you know we’re heading in the wrong direction as a human race…
Don’t focus on the title. Report the people who use it as an insult and be done with it.
