"Item at a different Trading Post, Request Throttle"

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Character keep resetting. It resets the Trading Post window every few seconds. After that reset I can’t buy or sell anything. If I try to sell something it says “Request Throttle”, if I try to buy something it says " item at a different Trading Post". Although I only have selected the Trading Post of the city I’m using. This bug also keeps resetting my animations. Like heavy attacks, mining, skinning etc. Is going on for days now. No answer no nothing. Can’t play the game at all.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can’t play without heavy attacks, market use. Can’t buy ammo, potions nothing. Because I can’t sell anything my storage is full. So I cant do anything else either,

Did anyone found a solution to this bug? Its going on since the 28 Oct update. It ruined the game for me. I can only fish, type and use light attacks. All I wanted to do is play the dame game during the weekend. I understand is a hard launch…but is already ridiculous. Not to be able to use the product you payed for. No customer support. Nada.

I am having this exact same problem, if i try to flash buy something before the trading post glitch or reset, i can but once ti does the flash reset , i can no longer buy or sell anything.

And the most infuriating thing is we have this since 3 days now. Not even a message from AGM. 0.
Why play a game which works only in a 25% state.

Damn, game is only at 25% and people are already spending 400+ hours… imagine if it reach 50%

What I meant by 25% is:

  1. Because of this resetting bug I can’t use the market place. Without the market place I can’t buy ammo, potions or anything else that I need for my gameplay. I can’t gathert because I’m not able to sell anything. So my storage is full.
  2. Because of this bug I can’t use heavy attacks. It always resets the animation.
  3. If I try to gather, skin, mine etc. it takes 10 attempt to finish the action.
  4. Crafting the same.
    The only things I can do at the moment in game since 3 days are : type, fish and use light attacks.
    So yeah…for me is like playing only 25% of the game. Don’t get me wrong. I like the game. That is the reason I’m venting over here. I understand is a mmorpg launch. We all know how they go. But I expected at least to be able to play the game I payed for. And on top of that there is no feedback from this guys. If this bug goes for a week? What than?

Nah. Day number 5. Impossible to play the game. At this point I’ve lost all hope.
Maybe now with the Trading Post being turned off something will change when they bring it back up. I’ve test my character while Trading Post is off. Still not being able to use heavy attacks, is all glitchy and resets all the E actions. Can’t open chests, quests, takes forever to do anything.

Well the bug is still here after 10 days. Is not even acknowledged by the studio. Just a moderator here and there saying he will forward the issue. After 10 days. I just log in 1 time per day to see if they solved the problem. I also check the forums from time time. It seems more and more players are facing this issue by now. Is unbelievable the lack of support and communication. They have hundreds if not thousands of players who can’t play at all the game they purchased. What does amazon about this? Absolute nothing. Enjoy the 40 bucks you thieves.

I’m still getting it as well. Both, tried purchasing an item at my current trading post says it is at another. Also, cannot post items for sale, says request throttled.

LITERALLY THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING EVER!
I am going to post a tread everyday until I see or read something about somebody doing something about this. It is literally unfair because it does not seem to affect everyone but those who are affected literally cant escape it. Makes the game unplayable, or if you do play your limited and everything you do is 10x slower because of constant exiting the station and opening it again to try and do something in the 3 second time span before it refreshes and or just auto exits. @Developer @ModerateKai Please this is urgent there are many people affected that enjoy the game and literally cant do anything.

im attempting to uninstall and reinstall to see if it does anything just to try and see if its possible the download or if its an account level bug.

Uninstall and reinstall doesnt work. Tons of us have this issue stemming from an oct update. They won’t reply to it and it makes trading post, crafting, etc a frickin nightmare.

Hey, so i uninstalled the game but i also cleared my saved data file out of the file explorer and so far it appears to be working again. I would try the saved data first and see if that works! type %appdata%/AGS/New World/ into your file explorer and it should be the first file.
ill get back to you on if it stays working

I’ve deleted the save file but didnt reinstall. it didnt help for me.

I’ve reinstalled, and deleted the save file. still the same shitty bug

15/11/21 trying to sell my items and buy items for cooking levels on the trading post in Brightwood and have tried Everfall. Today is the 16/11/21 and logging on in Brightwood I am still getting the message about “Throttle” when selling something and when buying "Coin Transferal disabled"

My wife who is playing the game also is getting the same messages.

Other than having to salvage all of my items for space for my bag and inside storage so I can continue playing the game as I have done from the beginning.

Can you please look into this and fix this issue so I can keep enjoying playing the game, please. My wife took a screenshots from her phone these are added below, and are the exact same messages I receive when “Trading” and “Selling”
