Someone needs to take a hard look at the itemization on world drops. At the moment, it’s noticeably broken.
Every single purple armor drop I get is light armor.
Every.
Single.
One.
Without exception, light armor, and almost always the same ‘look’. Weapons drops thus far have fallen into nearly every category in the game. Armor will drop in all categories up to blue, but once past that… Forget seeing anything but LA from world drops of any sort.
I run in medium armor. My gear ‘weight’ rating is firmly in the medium band. I have a Dex/Con build, but that shouldn’t restrict armor drops. If the lower quality tiers can drop in any armor type, there’s no reason other than a bug/mistake that should restrict the higher quality drops to one specific type.
I get that after 60, most armor is likely going to be boss drops or crafted, and thus random drops won’t matter, but up until that point, it’s extremely frustrating to see poorly itemized high tier armor drop that just gets tossed in the recycle bin because it’s utterly worthless.
