It's confirmed they don't have any plans for optimalization

Worst is that they know With their current sh***ENGINE they can’t make it any better. Their SOLUTION is to Chase how much ppl they can. Less PEOPLE BETTER PERFORMANCE.
Q: What is being done to improve game performance? Being in City … brings … the faem to 30 fps, while in open world it easily runs at 100+ fps
A: We have an initiative this year where we’re reviewing all settlements…it is also partially a product of a lot of people getting together

Well they are limited by technology and they don’t lie about issue with lot of ppl in same place. There is a lot of data that has to be exchanged between all ppl in area and sever and it has to be done fast, so your cpu is very busy sending and reciving data. And couse cpu is that busy, gpu starts to be limited by cpu and fps does drop.

Nothing special. It is expected in action combat mmorpg this type. Dunno if to this extend but its expected.

sitting in WW

103 fps

I think people shouldnt get their hopes up for game optimisation.

If they straight out dont tell: We are moving the game to a different game engine.

Then theres simply too much limitations for a very very very fluid gameexperience

My cpu is <40% and hows up to 65% when in city. So one thing that there is more cpu usage when more players couse data is exchanged. But there is still a lof of capacity left on cpu. So fps drops have to be coused by sh… network code they have or sth else.

You dont move to different engine with product already being live. Its same lvl of job that has to be done as “we move this building from here, there”.

ye I know but theres always hope for an expansion or so. I have seen games moving to a different engine or at least one thats similar just well a bit better.

Im very well aware that its just a pipe dream but a simple man can still dream xD
