I wanted to stay on my server but AGS released FSS and killed it. The least they could do is allow us to transfer to a more populated legacy server for free before it dies too.

I don’t think there game is design for more than 2k players, in fact on Nysa they add I Think 250 player slot on it cause of queues and the server was extremely laggy
Most servers are still well around 2k at peak.
I sgree with op, im on eden east US and its a 2-3 hr wait often to find a group for dungeon/expedition runs and often 20+ mins wait for a opr q to pop, makes it hard to enjoy the game.
Asmond did a pretty good video about New World and mega servers.
You should check it out. And then try to convince the devs that this is the way.
