It's time to close the gap between 500 and 590/600 GS

People want to pvp and this is the primary thing stopping them from participating. They’re not interested in the game because of this.

2 perk vs 3 perk gear is a big enough gap. 590 vs 625 base damage/armor is a big enough gap. Both together are almost too much.

I think its necessary to flatten out the base damage and armor for 500-590 at least, for the health of the game.

But why have balanced PvP when you can just alienate all your players until the studio shuts down and you can find a new job?

Perhaps they can’t retain players without making things easier at this point.

Maybe increase level Cap to 61-63 so that lowest GS starts at 575 with 1~3 expertise bumps.

Adjust Gear Score range drops, so that mobs lev 66 only drop 600 GS but decrease Legendary drop and increase green/white/purple. Lower level mob keep a range.

Make a Fusion Forge in game to increase item quality. 2 purple=1 legendary with random perks. Fuse 2 legendaries into random named legendary? Or perhaps into a Red-name weapon that glows. Yup. Just a rare cosmetic with 3 perks.

Increase GS from 625-630 but with 40%, 30, 20, 10% change of success. Anything below 10% is just cancer. But min-maxers need a thing

You are missing your solution to the bleeding player problem.

Between drops, chests and gypsum, expertise is less of a grind than levelling. It could possibly do with the removal of the daily cast limit and some increases of daily available gypsum. For example, when they reduced the Topaz crafting requirement, they should have left the daily drop limit, so we could get two a day. But overall, expertise isn’t too hard if you play the game.

Flattening out base damage and armor would probably destroy whatever incentive people have left to play. May as well just make a new game.

Agreed. I actually proposed this back then. To uh, add diminishing returns to the gypsun cast thingies so that people can farm what they want for what they consider reasonable.

Actually they coulda just let people farm 10 Topaz per map or from specific mob. Like the first 10 Topaz could drop from any mob lev 50-60 daily limit. pvP could drop up to 30. Lev 66 Elite mobs could drop up to 50 per day. And hard Bosses could drop up to 60.

true but there’s tons of casuals here, unfortunately.

I dont think adding more systems on top of a convoluted mess is the right call. Just tweak the numbers.
