Im 1.1k hours into the game and i agree on this, especially the GS change is sooo bad, nothing to look forward to, literally just increased grind for no reason. The rng is bad as is, none even has a full bis set to upgrade to 625. As for the mutated dungeons, increase the drop rate the higher level u go, dont increase all damn GS to 625, almost bis 595gs+ epic gear is going to be useless with this change… really hope this doesnt go through, most likely wont lead to anything good if it does, we all want this game to be good is all

Not necessarily, if there is intention to disrupt or infringe on rights of consumer additional compensation would be in order, which means registered consumers. Also it’s not Amazon’s legal team, it’s AGS, which Amazon wouldn’t risk covering if found that negative reputation, if anything amazon may also push for legal action against the legal authority of AGS for damaging branding/reputation.
It’s been a good run! I had fun through all the phases even if I disagree with the direction AGS wants to take things. I’ll still lurk a bit, maybe Jan. part 2 holds goodies! Though if it’s anything like June part 2 then head for the hills!
Too much grind in a game where I’d be better off working an extra 2 hours a week and buying gold than playing for 20 hours of mindless grind. I fought the wars and slayed the monsters. The idea that long grinds and shallow content are being patched with more grinds and rehashed content instead of taking the time to truly identify and rectify problems just doesn’t work for me.
I’d rather have steady communication and updates on what’s in the works for a couple months with no patches than have no communication and band-aid updates every month.

Agreed. PTR patch notes are terrible and a punch in the face for everyone who was hoping for desync/combat/balancing fixes. Priorization at it’s worst.
If you think people playing NW right now are happy and waiting for more exciting content, you are incredibly wrong. People are waiting for you to fix the core game and you are disappointing them.

It’s being shut down lol, when you leave gamebreaking bugs that allow for the entirety of your late game pvp to be decided by how many each team has abusing for literally months at a time, you are shutting the game down lol.
Well if by “shut down” you mean not fixing bugs over and extended period of time then yes it’s being shut down. By that definition the game have been more shut down after every patch. It’s shutting down all the time by that definition.
I mean you bleed out the playerbase without shutting down and catching some bad PR.
Despite how much of a shitshow the game is it is still not bad PR, shutting the servers down abruptly would be.
Making retarded braindead changes, throttling your own servers and just general incompetence however, that’ll kill your game just as fast and no bad PR because EA been doing this for 15 years everyones used to it.

Ok well that’s a more accurate description of reality.
I ragequit myself today due to bots and bugs. I didn’t quit the game per se but the client crashed at the same time as my mining pick disappeared again the this god damn bot run past me. I said to myself that I dont need this right now so gonna take a break. I love this core game design along with the sound and environment but I have given it a thumbs down on steam since launch. The January patch is depressing from my point of view.

It was fun while it lasted. All good times come to an end. And it’s good to see people are accepting this. I still hope this game has a turn around but I can only hope.
So even though Saab stopped making cars they should still repair your old one or refund you the purchase price if it stops working? I mean, the parent company is still in business, so why not - right? There are limits to any consumer protections, they are neither all-inclusive or everlasting. If you think you can win a case against AGS in the event the game closes down then best of luck, but I think you’re being hilariously optimistic about your chances.
I am curious how long a game must stay around. How many hours have you played. Did you contact that you would be able to play the game forever or for X hours or x years? Nope. Good luck with your invoice and your consumer agency. What a crock.

Very disappointed with the latest patch. We need some serious QOL improvements. Forcing us to do more content is bad. Devaluing our hard earned/made gear is bad. The management of this game is just as bad as I would have expected under the leader Amazon chose. The guy destroyed one of the best games ever in SWG. LOL Nough said.
Yes! And this did in fact happen to a lot of people. People bought cars that weren’t delivered and people had warranty repairs and stuff. Yes they where legally required to repair and refund but they went bankrupt and when that happen there aren’t any money or not enough money to go around. It’s always a nightmare for customers and suppliers when corporations go bankrupt.
Amazon is not bankrupt though.
If the game would shut down within 2 years of me buying the game it would be a clear cut case. Only thing that would stop me getting my money back would be for Amazon to go bankrupt like Saab.
It’s not a “case” neither It’s consumer law… And I would have a damn government agency on my side. This is what they do.
The people making these decisions are so out of touch, they can’t possibly be playing their own game.
Imagine being a brand new player and being thrown into this convoluted grindy system…

I should have been more clear in my example and added “that is out of warranty” to my original “repair your old one” comment.
Since when does “average player” need full upgraded 625 gear? Oh btw its like 2-3% difference between 600 and 625 …
So there is no point of getting umbral shards to upgrade my gear, thus no point in enjoying the new content coming if it’s just a 2-3% difference. I hope i get in wars which is the only real incentive to gear up with my sub 600 gear vs others who are way past that. Ill spread the good word, thanks!
