With the spectacular approval rating of our December release, we are now announcing the content of our January release. This release will focus on PvP and Luck, has we have seen a huge dip in PvP after our December release, we looked into ways to make it more rewarding and solve some issues that were raised by the community.
PvP Rank
PvP rank is a new system we are implementing, the goal is to give more players worthwhile rewards for participating in PvP. There will be 5 rank which can be achieved by killing other players during your favorite activities(flagged in open world, OPR, Wars, etc). Each reward will give you a permanent increase to your Luck and Generic Gathering Luck.
Here are the ranks, requirements and rewards;
- Peasant - 100 Kills: +5% Luck +10% Generic Gathering Luck
- Killer - 500 Kills: +10% Luck +20% Generic Gathering Luck
- Slayer - 1000 Kills: +15% Luck +30% Generic Gathering Luck
- Champion - 5000 Kills: +25% Luck +50% Generic Gathering Luck
- Divine - 10000 Kills: +50% Luck +120% Generic Gathering Luck

Luck Perk and Gathering Luck
We ear players tell us that having to both; constantly change gear in the word and having to carry multiple set of gear is something that they dislike. Donât worry, while implementing the PvP Luck changes we thought about your comment and will reduce this burden.
Because of the changes that we are implementing to make PvP more rewarding; all Luck and Gathering Luck perk on gear will be removed and randomly replaced by a perks that could potentially roll on that piece of gear. Do not worry, the permanent rewards from PvP more than offset these changes.
The luck perk from your tools will be replaced by the âGathering Alacrityâ perk.
All your gathering Trophies will be replaced by the equivalent tier of combat trophies, here is how;
Harvesting Trophy - Lost Combat Trophy
Mining Trophy - Corrupted Combat Trophy
Skinning Trophy - Ancient Combat Trophy
Logging Trophy - Beast Combat Trophy
Gathering Food buff
To make OPR a more exiting and appealing piece of content for Gatherers and PvEers, we are changing the food recipe of all gathering food buff to add a new ingredient. This new ingredient will only be accessible has a reward for winning an OPR and will be BoP.
These new ingredients will be available in 4 tiers, which will each be used in their respective tier of gathering food buff;
- II: Plain Essence
- III: Fighting Essence
- IV: Infused Essence
- V: Charged Essence
We are also adding four new food buff for luck that will increase your luck by (1%/2/%/4%/8%) respectively. We will let you discover what the complete recipes are on the test realm.
