- What is your character name in New World: Geccy
- What server/world did you experience your issue on: Atvatabar on Arkadia Omega
- Describe the issue you are experiencing: When crafting jewelry, the created jewelry does not match the gear score that the UI says it should, ex. a pristine ruby ring being between 539 and 558, and then turning out to be 529
- Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
- (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Does not allow me to create as powerful of gear that I should.
- (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Yes, but the materials are expensive.
- (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Jewelcrafting Bug - YouTube
- What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Use food, mixer set, trophies, and jewelcrafting earring to increase the gear score of a crafted accessory, and then craft it and get a lower gear score then the range shows should be possible.
Gear used in video: Full mixer’s set, +12 gear score food, Jewelcrafter passive on earring, and 2 minor armorers house trophies.
This issue has actually been posted and reported, It is a visual issue dealing with how the armor works. If you take your armor and remove it/equip it again, the gear score the UI says it can make continues to go up. You can keep doing this to get it to say 600±600+, only way to fix this visual bug is restart game (log out and in doesn’t clear it either).
Thanks! I thought I was thorough with my looking through this, and checked the known bugs and everything, but I guess I wasn’t lol.
