Why he no cracking heads together 
One way or another, sooner or later this game will be P2W. Its so obvious all crafting and luck system created for those p2w items.
Don’t need any apologists here.
I can go back to League of Legends, which is entirely free to play, create a brand new account and be Diamond within a month or two without paying a single dime. Same for games like Fortnite.
You don’t need to directly interfere with player fun to have a wildly successful and lucrative product. You do, however, need to have a well-made product.
New World has always been advertised as a skill-based game, and a cosmetic-only shop model supports those games extremely well. They’ve clearly moved into being a stat-based game which favors boosts and QoL to arbitrarily increase player power. Welcome to the stat-based combat model that I’ve been warning everyone of for the last year (ever since they made it obvious in December 2020).

Anything more than cosmetics, giving any statistics, fast teleports etc… will bé end of game for me and m’y folks

To me, your response comes off as their behavior should be the expectation.
It should not. They are quite actively making the game worse for players in the hope that they’ve sunk enough time in to justify buying boosts. Given their track record, their main objective should be creating a quality product, fostering good will, and using the merit of the product to sell things in the same manner other highly successful games do.
You might be fine with this behavior, but I’m not.
Should be expected? No. It shouldn’t be. Is it expected? In the world we live in? Yup.
