Just can't get into Barri server. Stuck in queue: 1 position

Hi,

I left this game for 6 months as I thought all the major bugs would be addressed by now and I’ve just started playing again.

Frequently I simply can’t get into the server. It says waiting in queue: position 1 then after a few minutes just disconnects from queue. When I click the stability of the server web page, it says it’s fine. I’ve called support and they said the server has no problems. I’ve revalidated all files as suggested. When I click on the EU server list it shows me that in the queue for Barri there are 256 in queue and yet for some reason my queue position always reads 1 and never gets in.

I’ve rebooted my PC as support suggested, I’ve linked other forum posts about queue position 1 getting stuck for the support team. I’ve requested if I can just go to another world so at least I can play the game I paid for but it doesn’t look like that’s possible.

I can see other threads that originated in Feb 22nd 2022 about the Barri server being highly populated and requesting a solution but the thread has just been closed down. This is more than 3 months on from that thread and it looks like nothing has been done.

I’ve rebooted my router, my pc, I’ve revalidated files and I can’t get in to use the game I bought. I appreciate there are some bugs that need work but I can see this queue bug for Barri being raised over 3 months ago.

I would like to be transferred to a less popular English speaking server please, alternatively a workaround to get into the Barri server, or a means of getting the money back that I paid for a game and service that is absolutely unusable for most of the day.

Please let me know how we can proceed please.

Welcome to the Lost Ark’s Forums.

I really appreciate you’re communicating to us about this issue, and also I want to thank you for sharing the troubleshooting you have done so far.

For this issue you can follow this troubleshooting related with the Internet Protocol Version 6 (tcp/ipv6):

  1. Open Windows settings.
  2. Go to your Network&Internet section.
  3. Click Change Adapter Settings.
  4. Right-click your connection (It can be either LAN or WIFI adapter) and go to Properties.
  5. Scroll down in the menu until you found the option Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  6. Uncheck the box next to it and restart your computer.
  7. Re-launch New World.

If this troubleshooting doesn’t work you can also verify the third party program EasyAntiCheat that is linked within New World:

  1. Open New World in your Steam Library.
  2. Right click on New World’s list title and then Go to Settings < Manage < Browse Local Files.
  3. Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  4. Run as administrator EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
  5. Make sure in the drop-down within EasyAntiCheat Service Setup New World is the selected game.
  6. Press Repair Service.
  7. After this process verify Steam Integrity Check files:
  1. Re-launch New World.

Finally, we need to verify is the AGS Files that are linked within New World:

  1. Windows + R type in %APPDATA%
  2. Go to Local and Roaming (Both files will include an AGS file) and open them.
  3. Rename the AGS sub-folder ‘‘New World’’ to something different like ‘’_New World"
  4. This will refresh the cache files within New World and remove the error launching the game.
  5. Re-launch New World.

Please let us know as soon as possible if after these troubleshooting the problem persist.

Fyi, bug on the login queue, dosnt show your actual position just sit and wait, go to nwdb and look at thr sever status, will show queue status for the world.

I had this the other day say position 1… waiting 10 mins and i got in, on nwdb the queue was 243.

I did wait for many minutes with queue position 1 until it timed out.

However, this problem, for whatever reason, no longer seems to exist.

I do have another bug but I’ll start a new thread.
