ah so you are just a troll… because the quest experience isn’t anything similar and neither is the grind or the money cost of everything. Enemy variation has increased a lot especially in the lower level zones with new enemies that aren’t in the mid level or end game zones. PVP is still dead but that’s because there is no scaling and no low levels will ever flag up on a veteran server. Fresh start servers though will have a lot of pvp early on while questing. I’m not saying the game is fantastic now. But it’ll hold way more new players this time around.

No I knew they wouldn’t release the current slated items. They never do anything on time.
In all honesty I wish AGS would just sell the rights to this game to a better developer. Every decision they make is wrong or late.
The reality is BNB and TEMP should’ve release at the same time. Brimstone over Summer. That way when the anniversary rolls around they could actually do something for it.
But day late dollar short is the motto here. Taking time does not prevent bugs/dupes/exploits. Release shit now.

Bro this is the general discussion forums. If all you’re gonna do is beg the devs to close posts you disagree with maybe you should do something with your life.
As for “hating on the devs for half a year”, yeah that’s most of the player base. You can deny it all you want, but when 99% of a population leaves and the people who remain and try to salvage something from the wreckage are all saying things need to change maybe that’s a sign they should change.
I have hit the gold cap. And I have finished every single quest in the game. Including the 580 weapon quests which are TERRIBLE in design. Most of them make you go to 66 elite zones, multiple, just to get a 580 weapon with corrupted bane +1 perk.
I have not maxed furnishing or music because I saw no point. I will work on furnishing now.
Music is 150+ tho. Which really is the max since there is nothing after that.

I agree, it’s actually sad features are being delivered in a slow pace.
I believe it’s related to the fact that after making a change in the game 500 other things can break.
We saw that many times.
It takes 5% of time to add something new and 95% to fix the bugs it caused.
I doubt that the slowness is due to a lack of human resources or something like that but who knows

Releasing a product that hasn’t been in the oven long enough creates a cascade of further issues that can rarely if EVER be caught up on. I’m talking thousands of bug tickets and that’s only internally documented ones.
This is not just something you ‘do’.
I work on a product team, there are processes in place for a reason. New World was released the way it was because they were forced to break process and do exactly what you’re suggesting.

If they went by what you are saying the game wouldn’t have been released already. There are literally original test bugs still in the game. Lots of things still do not work. They are constantly pushing updates that break general functionality of the game.
This is a beta test. You all need to realize this.

We have learned. You have not. Nothing will ever be ready. They will release it, exploits/bugs/dupes WILL be found.
Then they will patch them, then new bugs/exploits/dupes will be found. Repeat ad infinitum.
We just want stuff now because there has not been a SINGLE patch that did not come with new problems. We’ve accepted every single patch will have problems. You need to accept that this is a beta and that goes with the territory.

No I;m of the beta tester mentality. They keep putting out half-assed patches that break general game functionality. The best thing for the game at this point is to dump it all and let the players work through the problems. They clearly have zero in house testing. Not to mention things on the PTR have problems, we report them, then they go to the live server.
Just want more to do since it will be years before this game is without problems.
