I see so many 1-30’s running around on these new servers either clueless/confused about “new” vs “fresh” server or debating to stick with their character or not. “Soon” “Soon” and Soon."
At this point, im not even excited anymore logging in to re-roll 60.
You are misleading a lot of new/returning players and annoying a good 10-15% of your player base, as well as another 10-15% increase for those waiting. You’re dropping the ball hiding.
I don’t even want to log in anymore and re-level because I plan on playing on a “fresh” server. However, when? a week? tomorrow? next year…? Seriously.
I was so excited to log in today and play, and I saw another “soon” post, and just said… Meh…maybe tomorrow.
They have alot of work to do to bring out Brimstone in a playable and non buggy state for the 18th October. That is where the manhours are going. Not on FS servers.
They will have to do some work to ensure FS servers are non buggy before they release them so that dupeworld doesn’t happen on them. Otherwise what is the point. That is one of the big reasons many existing players are looking forward to FS servers. The later they release them the better they will be.
The game is so much better than it was at launch, let them make sure everything is sorted before they release FS servers.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they push them back until December personally.
That would be a bad desicion, people who came to experience fresh start will be dissapointed and frustrated. In december hype over brimstone and fresh servers will be over, people who will decide to stay will have a significant time played on their characters on regular servers, and if they are not nolifers they won’t just waste their time invested into current characters to start all over again. If fresh start servers will be released in Dec - it will literaly have no point.
They actually never said Fresh Start was coming with Brimestone. You all just assumed it is. They never actually acknowledged it other than starting to lay some ground work that datamines found.
They could release them in 5 years if they want to and you’d just have to deal with the wait.
Why do you think the idea of fresh servers came to devs just a week ago and they do it in hurry? If so - that’s also a large mistake, but I assume they have already learned their lessons.
If you aren’t going to play (lose interest) because you don’t get an announcement on your schedule, you’re 100% quitting your fresh start server in a month or two.
There is a bunch of lvl 1-40 on Olympus and they seem to enjoy themselves. I don’t see ANY question about fresh server on general, you guyz are coping so hard I can’t believe it.
Actually locking people from transfering is a big deal, the other stuff to be done - not to add new dupes and bugs, make servers stable. It’s going to be the same game we play now but with economy not influenced by formar bugs and dupes (hope most of them in past) and lots of low lvl players.
People seems to forget every city is downgraded to lvl2 and take months to get up even with transfers on. People starting on fresh server are ready for a rough wakening soon
