Hallo Amazon Support,
seit 2 Tagen versuche ich nun wieder mit meinem Charakter einzuloggen und bekommen jedesmal die Fehlermeldung “Timed out while waiting for server to describe the world.”.
Server: Albraca
Char: Ruskoff
Was bisher getan wurde um das Problem zu lösen:
Reboot PC
Spiel neu starten
Speldaten auf Fehler prüfen
Spiel neu installieren mit Neustart des PCs nach dem deinstallieren
Charakter via Chat Support löschen und wiederherstellen
Einloggen um 5 Uhr morgens damit man keine Warteschlange hat und der Server “frei” ist
Erstellen und spielen eines zweitcharakters was problemlos läuft
eine andere internet Verbindung probieren
Laut Supportchat soll ich mich ans Forum wenden, hier noch die (englischen) Chatverläufe:

Me [10:05:24] : so my character is deleted in my login screen and I can’t create one due to disabled character creation

Me [14:02:12] : since yesterday I can’t login at all recieving the error message “Timed out while waiting for server to describe the world.” Level and Armor in the login character preview also doesn’t match my latest progress (shows lvl 24 instead of lvl 27 and another armor). Additionally I was still shown as online since yesterday evening until below steps done by your colleague Arshi.

Fabian [14:16:33] : Alright, sorry for the wait. I was able to see the logs from the previous chat you had with us. For now, don’t worry about the issue showing your character level as lower or with different armor than the one it had before logging out last ime. This is a known issue after getting unexpected disconnects and the information in the game menu is just innacurate and outdated, doesn’t actually represent the xp level or armor in game once you are able to log in. Now about the login issue, what troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
Me [14:17:14] : reboot pc, check game files, all of that multiple times since yesterday
Me [14:17:46] : it always gives me the “Timed out while waiting for server to describe the world.” message as failure code
Me [14:18:12] : so according to the failure message it does not sound to be a client issue for me
Fabian [14:20:23] : Can you try creating a new character in a low population, low queue world, to see if it lets you join another world?
Me [14:20:47] : i did that too today, worked fine

Me [14:24:20] : just created a new toon on vyrij to make sure, no problem and worked without any issue

Fabian [14:44:13] : Alright, sorry for the wait again. I was able to find several cases and reports of this issue including posts in our official forums. This issue is character based meaning it is the case almost every time that creating another character just to test will most certainly let you play and login like normal. This issue for now looks like it’s caused by logging out of a busy server with a really high population, and since the server is so overloaded it takes a longer time for the server to actually despawn your character, meaning that when you try to log in before that, it struggles to spawn you. Most of the cases that were able to resolve the issue, simply had to wait for multiple hours without trying to log in to that character to give the server time to despawn it. I am seeing here your world is currently at character creation cap, and it has a really high population, so that would be the best way to go to fix the issue while the dev team investigates and works on a server side fix.
Me [14:45:24] : Ok thanks, so basicly I have to wait and try again maybe tomorrow morning or late night when the population is lower
Fabian [14:49:58] : The world will most likely stay at high population but what I’d recommend is to give it some hours without trying to log in to that character so the server is able to despawn it completely, please let us know how this goes and feel free to create a post in our forum to raise awareness of the issue with other players and be able to communicate with the team so we can all work on a solution!

Me [11:00:21] : I had talks with Arshi and Fabian from your team and was advised to try to login when the server is not on full load.
Me [11:00:41] : so I went up today 5am morning where Albraca had no queue and was on low population, same result still can’t login
Me [11:01:41] : what I did so far:
Me [11:01:41] : reboot pc
Me [11:01:41] : verify game files
Me [11:01:41] : reinstall the game with deleting also the user folder and crash report folder
Me [11:01:41] : create a new character on another server which worked well
Me [11:01:57] : try to login when the server is on low population
Me [11:02:12] : deleting and recovering the character together with Arsi
Me [11:02:37] : none worked, so what I was thinking about is to move the character to another world which we didn’t try so far

Keilor Josue [11:07:38] : Ok Christoph, the Dev team is aware of several issues including login services errors, internal server errors, timeout errors, and more. We are trying to fix this issue as soon as possible. For now the solution that some players have found is to close the game and don’t log back in after a few hours and then try again. I know this is not the answer you were expecting from me and I’m very sorry for this
