"Keen Temper" Quest not Completing Correctly

• Describe the issue you are experiencing: The final step of the quest “Keen Temper” requires you to visit a tier 3+ forge, and create the eponymous GS500 sword. Upon crafting, the quest does not complete.

• Is this a bug?: Yes

• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: Quest unable to be completed properly, cannot obtain rewards.

• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: N/A

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:

1. Begin the Keen Temper quest in Cutlass Keys
2. Proceed through the quest as intended
3. At the end of the quest, when told to craft the sword, it will not grant completion

How far are they fixing this bug?

EDIT: The qurst “Executioner” is doing the same thing just made it and it didn’t count.

Issue is still existing for me as well. Stuck unable to complete the quest.

This issue is being fixed with the latest update happening tonight: New World Update 1.7.1 - News | New World - Open World MMO PC Game
