I’m not sure if this is a bug or if it is intentional.
Typically you cannot apply a second bleed to an enemy even if you run two weapons with keenly jagged (As you can see on your first hammer crit which did NOT apply a bleed)
However after the 7 second timer on the the Keenly Jagged cooldown ends (UI says 10 seconds but dev confirmed this is a bug displaying pre-patch info) you are free to apply a new Keenly Jagged debuff.
What you seem to be experiencing here is your ring extending your keenly jagged bleed, but not extending the cooldown to reapply the buff.
I say this is not a bug because I believe this is working as intended. It would be kinda silly to extend the debuff timer and also extend the cooldown to reapply it. At that point their isn’t much value to running the ring perk at all since DoTs are extremely easy to reapply in this Game.
Conclusion: Your ring extending the bleed, and them reducing the cooldown on Keenly Jagged, now allows you to reapply a bleed a second or two before the prior one ends. Doesn’t have much impact since it’s only 1-2 extra tics of bleed from the first weapon (~500 damage) but a kinda cool implementation of a underused perk.
I even showed the tooltip and explained what the actual discrepancies are. The duration on the tooltip is correct, but the damage amount isn’t. It’s 10% weapon damage for 6 seconds, with a 7 second cooldown. Devs confirmed that the 7% is hardcoded instead of referencing the variable.
It did apply a bleed with the first hit at 0:46? Did you watch a different video?
This is the exact opposite of what happens.
I don’t think you noticed that at 0:54 in the video, I trigger Keenly Jagged for the Great Axe, but that seems to completely refresh the bleed for my Warhammer. I get 8 more ticks of Warhammer bleed (222 damage) alongside the newly-applied Great Axe bleed (241 damage).
It seems that if I apply a new bleed during the Blood Letting extended period for the bleed, it refreshes the existing bleeds.
Dude…. Your first 3 gaxe swings crit and did nothing at all…. It didn’t re-apply till the end.
Also, it’s pretty stupid to test this way. Probably would be better to test in a way that actually shows the active debuffs. Like on another player.
So you’re just choosing to ignore everything then?
Stop derailing the actual issue. I’m reporting something that can be exploited, and you’re ruining the report with misinformation.
