That’s a neat idea. Not sure about implementation. The implications are probably larger than we might think. Still it’s an idea that should be investigated.
I think this a potentially very cool idea…and you could vary the mineral/metal resource by zone for that matter. +1 to you for creative thinking!

+1 on this…they can be placed on an RNG table so they do not happen every “evening” and can drop either starmetal and/or orichalcum. Not a field full like gleamite but 3-5 nodes. Random enough that bots can’t program a path for it.

This would be an awesome way to help people who cannot get these resources. I wake up daily at 5 am to farm Orichalcum, there is always someone else on the route, then I go to Starmetal, someone there too, go to brightwood, a damned bot is there. Please give it a thought, I guess it would be a great idea

I love those meteors too. Even if i keep getting hit by them.
Fully randomize the locations/night/time please, so they can’t be camped or bot harvested.
Put star metal/small drop of ori or other ores.

Going to miss seeing those Meteors lighting up and flying across the sky with that crackle in the distance. They really added a sense of immersion of an “Oh wow!” moment.
Would love it! Also yes it should be based on Zone lvl, even Iron I’d still run and get! It should be all types of ores, silver, gold, platinum etc. But only drops very small amounts when mined. A chance to get gems too? But only 1, nothing crazy.
