I see a lot of valid criticism on the forums talking about how endgame is pretty empty for a lot of us right now. I personally don’t find the notion of busywork chores like maxing out territory standing or all trade skills to be actual “content,” but the best part about an MMO is that content doesn’t just come from the game, but the community itself.
We’ve got enough people to brainstorm some fun ideas for server events or group activities.
Note: this isn’t saying “find ways to entertain yourself and stop being mad you grinded all the content!” (because that’s what I did whoops) It’s saying “Until we get that content, what fun shit can we do as a community?”
Suggestions include:
- Hide and Seek (Could do Town-wide or Territory-wide, even making someone get to a certain point without being caught)
- Trivia Night at the Tavern (Esp over NW trivia, considering the wiki isn’t super complete atm)
- 1v1 PvP tournaments (Could honestly even do a buy-in and give the pot to the winner, I’ve seen a few companies do this already)
- Races/Marathons (Get from point A to point B before anyone else)
- Fishing tournaments
- Murder Mystery Houses (I’ve never done these so I don’t know how they work, but could potentially be neat)
Again, I know we’d ultimately like more content, but there’s a lot of potential in community collaboration. I don’t know how y’all feel about this, but if you have any ideas on how we as a community can keep busy while AGS works on content/bug fixes, let’s talk about them!
