Kicked for AFK while actively Fishing

  • What is your character name in New World: Parthenya
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: US East/East
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: While actively fishing on a bridge in the middle of Windward town on the bridge I get kicked for “afk”. Provided a screenshot of the position and input latency, etc. Time of occurrence was around 7:35-40 AM, CST on Thursday, Oct 14.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Kicks me out of the game.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: I have to log back in.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Fishing actively, no standing, off the bridge within town in Windward for about 15 minutes.

    Windward I get kicked 3 times for “afk”.
    Time of occurrence was around 14:00 to 15:00 PM, UTC on Thursday, Oct 14.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Kicks me out of the game.

I had the same issue yesterday.

Same here. Fishing. Playing the game as intended. Kicked while reeling in a fish with no warning, just bam! In my head that fish was a legendary.

I was kicked in Windsward as well for afk while actively walking around town and crafting and smelting items.
