Killing fishing bots

I have a mining route and there are AFK players with no gear and random names that simply stay there on the same spot and pick the same iron vein for days.

They never go offline.

Mercy. If someone trains a mob on you just kill it and continue on with your day. I do a ton of fishing and harvesting, and I’d rather have players train a mob onto a potential bot rather then let the account go on like that for days.

The way gaming companies have allowed their paying customers who don’t cheat to suffer while they did little to stem the tide of botting and gold-selling, makes it inevitable that players will finally need to resort to in-game methods to save the server. I applaud them.

Seriously. If someone is using a cheat program to fish up chests, then even if they arent afk theyre still cheating. They can choose to report you and they may get you a 24 hour if the rep is grumpy, but that would put them on the watch list and next time they use that cheat theyre getting a perma.

Dude it took like 10 hits from that pig to kill him and this guy keeps fishing. You telling me as human you would keep fishing even if mob is slowly killing you?

And after death you wouldn’t do anything to respawn? (fishing bot is not programmed to press E), so it stays there dead.

It’s really easy to spot a bot if you have any experience about mmos.

I see a suspected bot, they get whatever wild life is in there area pulled to them.

If they keep fishing and ignore the damage, they die and I go about my day.

If they stop and fight the wildlife, I will kill the wildlife with them, apologize, and offer up a gift as well. I’m not here to wreck someone’s experience, but the bots deserve it all.
