The only thing this issue really brought to light is that AGS doesn’t actually have support reps. Amazon CS reps have beenn answering every ticket related to new world. But they aren’t AGS rep. That’s infuriating.
It would be like calling a mechanic because your car broke down but instead of actually talking to the mechanic you found out you were talking to the mechanics cousin who’s in real-estate.
Virri, you must be extremely frustrated being locked out of a video game for a couple of hours. I understand, I didn’t mean to upset you or others.

It is kinda of weird that the dude joined a thread of a known issue affecting thousands of people and accused them all of being cheaters in some way with nothing to back it up…
They dont need to, but when an amazon games rep tells us that an issue is their fault and their looking to resolve it, I trust them. I havent played in 2 days and I came back to not being able to log in after an update

Customer representatives are not developers, we need to make that clear. Customer rep will always give you a copy paste reply no matter what, if we actually could speak with the developers this issue would be fixed awhile ago now. But no, this everything seems like Amazon online shop lol…
That sounds like a genuine response, yes we are all frustrated, I was really enjoying the game and I do want to continue to play, thank you for understanding.
You must live in Europe for trusting Amazon. Their entire foundation for customer support is outsourced to India.

There’s also a difference between CS reps who work with the devs – which is what you get with most MMO’s (most).
Versus what we are getting is amazon reps who have no relation to Amazon Games. It takes uselessness to a whole new level.

Well I might of jumped the bus a bit early. It’s just… without dwelving to deep, I really do know what I’m talking about. So I just hope that I’m wrong. And I’m not assuming everyone is cheating, not at all - EAC can be triggered by other games. Battlefield, Fall Guys, Halo… all games known to trigger issues.
I dont give much space for this kind of idiots, just ignore him. Every forum has people like him, with this strange pleasure “annoying other people”. again, just ignore him. He will keep on with his stupid theories if you keep feeding him. Enough said. Next page, waiting for a fix for the game, i can actually log in main screen like described since the beginning of this thread. He did no read, he does not care, he´s here just to annoy people because his friends were banned for cheating and he has nobody to play with. End story. You cannot fix broken people. Fix will come sometime soon.

This error that the guy posted from his logs has been an issue since launch some friends had it at day 1 and some never got fixed at all they could log in sometimes but eventually same bug would come back
The fact that people can resort to such insults and drag it this far calling me all types of names over a game is shocking. You all have a wonderful day, nonetheless.
