AGS Back at it again with game breaking bugs. Not sure if this has happened to anyone before. Here is the story.
I am a heavy crafter and full bis player who has spent thousands of hours and gold on my sets. I was playing on Friday and was experiencing server issues. I could feel my game needed a reset. I was encumbered after crafting 50 weapons from FS to TS great axes. Further, I was testing a dex build, so my bis FS and bis IG were in my weapon inventory along with my new crafted weapons.
I went ahead and hit “store all” of my inventory to a storage, and simultaneously received “lag-detected”
Boom. All my weapons in my inventory gone, and not in my storage when lag is completed. I lost over 2 million in high value gear, and lost my BIS 625 mage set. I reached out to AGS, sent my files of my game, details on the lost items (which is over 50 so kinda hard to remember each item by name)
and so far, nothing. Sure, human error is tough and can work against you. But a legit game bug should not make it so my character loses all of my hard worked items I spent time getting and rolling.
lmfao - no desire to play this game anymore after this. I mean millions and hundreds of hours spent to get this stuff. Further, I paid to transfer to Delos just to pick up some of the items. so not only out-of-pocket IRL money but also time and game currency. big L
Just as I was slowly gaining some hope with the AGS staff I see things like this. If they have no capability to detect these items what faith can I have in this company. Every time I get a sliver of belief I see this. I will be saving this one to see progress as if this can’t be fixed maybe its time to stop playing again.
I really hope AGS can find a way to make this right. The fact that someone can lose all of their progress in the game because of a server error is scary. I have over 2k hours in the game and if this happened to me I’d also stop playing. Hoping they see this and can find a way to fix it.
@Luxendra@Shadow_Fox This needs to be addressed. @cbergeron is one of our main crafters on our server and for this to happen without anything being done is ridiculous!
