"lag detected" every 5 seconds!

World Server: Frislandia NA East
Character name: Matsko
For about a day now im constantly getting lag detected every 5 seconds nonstop. When i hop onto a character from another server i have no issues.
I’ve verified files, reset PC, un-installed and re-installed, drivers are up to date hell I even tried using a VPN with no luck. Please someone help me with this. Hopefully im just dumb and its a simple fix

Could you please try these steps :

  1. Uninstall the game
  2. Delete these folders :
  • C:\Users(your comp name)\AppData\Local\AGS
  • C:\Users(your comp name)\AppData\Roaming\AGS
  1. Reinstall the game.

did what you said and it did not work… have already tried all the methods in your link as well. Can we please stop acting like this is a connection problem on my end now? Is it not weird that my main character on frislandia is getting this non-stop for 2 days now but if i play my second character on a separate server i have no issues at all? please dont shrug this off, ive quite enjoyed playing your game and wish to not stop but this is kind of absurd.

Be sure to have your game logs ready in case they ask for them:

Provide the latest 3 logs from: Users\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\LogBackups

DxDiag report https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/open-and-run-dxdiag-exe-dad7792c-2ad5-f6cd-5a37-bf92228dfd85:

  1. Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  2. Click on dxdiag.exe.
  3. When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

Agreed its not the players… everyone on our server gets it at exactly the same time… maybe our ovaries are in sync or something.

This is due to server performance issues, we can’t fix this
