Lag Detected followed by Stuck Character "Time since last response:" until disconnect

lag detected the second time in 4 hours and now i must wait again: FIX IT!!!

why i must wait again. fix this shit

Casually lagging. lag could hold up for well over 10 minutes at worst.

Yeah, I am permanently stuck and VPN doesn’t work on me.

This post I’m sharing is from customer support. Fostus has been extremely helpful & has given us the opportunity to report our BackUpLog Data in a pastebin for them to forward over to the Developers. If you’d like to help resolve this issue, please consider asking Fostus to whitelist you & send over the pastebin via his DM.

The more attention we bring, the sooner (hopefully) we’ll all be able to enjoy this game together.

A small update from me, regarding ‘LAG DETECTED’ > BOOTED error.

I ran the ‘Win10DebloatGUI’, usually run this little baby after an update session with Win10, but had not done this prior to playing NW. Also after, i use the Windows update blocker.
After that i had a 5 hour session in NW without a hitch, not sure whats going on, but could be some tasks within windows can cause this ‘lag detected’ error (who knows).

The debloater can disable Cortana, remove Onedrive, remove a massive amount of bloatware and corresponding regkeys and telemetry tasks. It have a small easy to understand interface which let you choose what you want to remove/disable.
With regards to Update Blocker, IF you use the Microsoft Store, you need to disable this when you want to download/install from there… then you can enable it again ;).
I use WuB because when Windows update itself, it installs all the stuff you have removed with Debloat, and ofc also installs the DCH GPU Driver (Nvidia) and i want the standard driver with full ControlPanel from Nvidia).

NOTE: I ‘only’ have the ‘lag detected’ error… NOT stuck after (for now at least)

My character is on Ogygia. But if I go to Esc->Game Menu it says “world: Lesnik”

I also had a friend come over to where I was stuck (First Light Inn) and he doesn’t see any of the people around me, or me. It seems to be the game is loading chat in the correct world but forcing your character into another?

If I select any characters that are near me, using the H command, if I highlight ‘trade’ it will say “is not online”

I don’t understand anything of this, If I can get a solution for this it’d make my life a hell of a lot easier, Sitting in queue just to get in to be greeted with a “Lag detected” to then get immiedtiely kicked back out and not being able to play the game is rather painful, Almost 28 hours on the game and only 4-5 of those are played and it only works on non peak hours when the server population is low.

Fostus, If u could whitelist me so I can send you more data that’d make it easier, I’d love for this problem to be solved.

So there is no actual fix and a multi-billion dollar company can’t Launch a game better than FFXIV could and they had a quarter of the budget. Stunning. I am having the same issue, been 48 hours for me and nothing. Time for a refund on the game and all items from the cash shop.

Yeah man. Its really hilarious how they don’t even bother to fix a simple connectivity issue. People out there enjoying the game meanwhile we sit here waiting for them to fix their own problem. really fked up ags
