I couldn’t figured out how to PM on this forum but here is my last log, if you need others I can post thoses too, I changed from my home internet to phone tether and it’s still stuck

If you’re going to post logs do everyone a favor and use pastebin.

I’ve been stuck in place for 72 hours now so I feel your pain but please just read the thread and follow the instructions given.

Exact same issue, get it frequently. Tried next to everything. Think it might be correlated to servertime vs local time checks which makes it happen in my case. Or it’s just something else from Amazon’s side that I am fully unaware off.

Tried everything, sometimes it fixes itself after re-que and I can continue for 20 minutes and sometimes it will happen instantly again.

Another crash after just 15-20 min gameplay. It’s never been this bad and it started all of sudden over today.

Issue: Forced into queue despite being in the game due to “Lag Detected”
This is the 3rd time today, y-day I had it once, two days before that same thing. At least implement a grace period of 10 minutes, compensation for this issue should be adressed.

Have you tried a VPN or Mobile hotspot? Many people who are able to play but frequently or periodically get Lag Detected are able to play pretty smoothly using a VPN or Hotspot. They are simply bypassing their ISPs connection to the game server.

This would be the most recent “update” from Customer Service relaying what they’re getting from Devs.

If you’re unhappy with the game, go ahead and leave a bad review. I’ve been stuck for 72 hours but I also realize that we are a pretty small % of people who are suffering from issues when there are larger groups of people suffering from other issues too. We just gotta be patient and find a more productive way to use our time until its fixed.

I feel you 100% because I am in the same exact spot. My brother in law is already hitting the 40s when I had a 20 level head start on him lol.

Ok, I found the solution to AT LEAST MY ISSUE with the “Lag Detected” and disconnects. I tested and reverified multiple times, there is no mistake here…

Discord

Discord running I get “Lag Detected” every few minutes and occasional disconnects from it. With DIscord completely turned off (not running in the system tray but totally stopped) I have zero “Lag Detected” messages and no issues whatsoever.

My Suspicion… There is some conflict between Discord and either Easy Anticheat or the NEW World program itself. My money is on Discord vs Easy Anticheat that is causing the issue in the game.

My suggestion is to test on your PC if you are running Discord while playing, TOTALLY DISABLE it. Keep in mind that by default when you hit the X to close Discord it doesn’t actually close the program. It just closes to the system tray where it runs in the background. You have to right-click the icon in the tray and choose “Quit Discord” or open Task Manager and kill it from there.

My Specs:

  • 1 Gig Fiber internet connection
  • AMD 5900x CPU
  • Nvidia 3080 Ti GPU
  • 32 GB RAM running at 3600 Mhz

I do not see that the issue could be anything to do with my PC setup. Other than the possibility of a conflict between Discord and some hardware/software on my PC.

No software or apps running that could be causing an issue though. The only running software is Logitech for my mouse.

I am 100% convinced this is a Discord conflict of some kind. As I mentioned, probably Easy Anti Cheat.

Can you please clarify what exactly was happening with your Lag Detected issue? Because there are a couple of common variations of this issue.

Were you able to play AT ALL, and were getting lag detected frequently/periodically?

Or did you get Lag Detected once, and then forever stuck?

I personally am the latter, and tried turning off Discord and had no luck in the game freeing me from my prison.

Unable to move (perma stuck), chat seems to function still, unable to unstuck/fast travel.

This started in hermits shrine, but I am now in Bright wood somehow with lag detected and unable to move.
