My issue was that every few minutes, sometimes even a few seconds apart, I would get the “Lag Detected” message and my character would totally stop moving and be stuck. Sometimes it would start up again after a few seconds and others I would disconnect from the server.
I am the latter as well. Nothing worked for me. At least other guys get to play again with VPN and other stuff, but if you are permamently stuck nothing works. We need a fix ASAP
Precisely what Justice has said. I’ve had the issue for over 50 hours now myself. It’s very upsetting and genuinely disheartening because I put 41 hours of nerding in just over two days - but we’re such a tiny % compared to others and that is just sadly bad luck. If we can work together and work out a solution with the developers/help them identify the issues as apposed to being negative & aggressive, we can come out on top and hopefully be a part of a game breaking problem that we’re able to possibly help fix.
Let’s try keep this thread specific to the SUBJECT described at the top of the thread and leave negative comments away as that doesn’t help anyone at the end of the day. <3

I have character logs to send, please white list. My character has been unplayable since last night.
It looks like the following occurs when the lag detected occurs:

Nah man its ok to be angry. This game came out 5 days ago it is really hype everyone is grinding meanwhile we are sitting here with an unfixable non player based connectivity problem that is not for sure when its gonna be fixed.
Again, tested this many many times in all possible ways…
- Discord on before the game starts
- Game on then start Discord
- Turning Discord off and on during play (the issue is noticeable as soon as I turn Discord on and goes away the moment I kill the app in Task Manager).
There is no mistake. After hours of this I can confirm that something with Discord is causing the issue (again, at least on my PC) and I highly suspect it is a conflict with Easy Anticheat.
They will fix it in 2 weeks everyone will be max level when we can finally play the game. What is the point? If shroud had this problem they would fix it in 12 hours.
Unfortunately the thread has branched off into anyone having Lag Detected show up on their game at any point in time. It would be nice if we were able to have threads pertaining to specific issues rather than ones that include everything under the sun with the same words.
I have been trying to put suggested fixes for people having THAT issue at the top of the thread so that maybe they’ll give it a shot and have success to avoid clogging up the thread with things the CS agent isn’t focused on.

I’m willing to accept some level of blame for this since the title of my thread wasn’t explicit. I also didn’t expect this thread to explode to the magnitude that it did.
I have OWNIT bredband and got always LAG DETECTED when server is full usually at evenings. Today I switched to internet from my mobile (Comviq) and could to play almost 3 hours and got unexpected closing av the game. So it seems we have a problem with OWNIT ISP? But I can play another MMO games without any problems. I’m confused now…

i was wondering if there is something with our parameters in the steam cloud maybe, i had an issue with a game who was unable to switch to my audio device. I tried with a friend computer in his house, i have the same problem. but it seems more a database error on server side
Fostus hasnt been online in 12 hours. They work the evening/late hours so spamming them won’t produce any results.
I don’t think you deserve any blame whatsoever mate. - I understand people’s stress and sadness about it as I feel it very much so myself but it’s the individuals that type anger inducing comments or just complaining in general that aren’t helping. - Also the mixed diversity of the problem was honestly bound to happen. Yours is one of the most popular threads so naturally people will gravitate to it without reading because that’s the era we live in, haha.
- I just hope Fostus is able to filter their way through the forums and see our concerns more so than the nonsense of some posts.

I just think there is no way the Discord thing can be the issue ONLY on my PC. I really think it is something significant and I wanted him to check it out asap so maybe we get some solutions for people.
EAC had a recent update and I suspect that the update and DIscord are not getting along.
I also quoted your suggested fix at the top of the original post for anyone to try if they are having an issue similar to yours (not mine).

You’re swedish right? Guessing on the name and the ISP name. I have Telenor myself so… starting to think about things here now. Because I know that OWNit got bought by Telenor in 2014. so I am starting to think if it in fact is related to our ISPs
Id assume telenor/ownit have similar problems, so try vpn ^^ have ownit and swedish myself, vpn works good, sadly exitlag seems to have problems after a few hours q or smthin else with steam
Gonna try downloading NordVPN and tweak a bit more. Because I fully refuse to play an MMORPG without Discord. And if it’s between my ISP and Amazon then sincerely Amazon, get it together. Because right now I’ve tried next to everything but VPN didn’t work at first but I think I have a theory, not sure if it helps anyone except Swedish people worst case but I can at least try.
Yeah exactly, gonna try to see if can work around it using Telia or such. Issue is that I can swap ISP because the area is locked to only Telenor or similar companies owned by Telenor.
