I live in the USA. But all my friends are playing on a European server “Gilgamesh”. So naturally, I want to join them. I created a character and finished a tutorial, but after the first 5 minutes of the game, my game froze and I got a “Lag Detected” pop-up. I stood there for about 3 minutes, then it unfroze for a few seconds but froze again with the same pop-up. I encountered that problem before, (it was actually the main reason I couldn’t play the game and left) but now with the new servers opening up, I thought I could give this game another try. But this problem seems to haunt me. By the way, my ping is usually around 140-150 which is not that bad, but not grade either, but I noticed that I froze when it jumped up to 200, then the second, and third times were around 160. Please tell me what can i do to fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m sorry about the Lag detected sign you got on the game, here are some steps that might be able to help you with the lag:

Please make sure to add the DxDiag and Gamelogs through a sharing link from a Cloud Storage like Google Drive to the support report, you can pull it following this steps:
DxDiag report:
- Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
- Click on dxdiag.exe.
- When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.
GameLogs:
- Game logs can be found on: \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\CrashDB\reports\
