Lagging issues during fighting and going into buildings or different areas

  • What is your character name in New World: Sunsetfoxrises
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Camelot
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Just a heads up don’t know if it is just me or others but there is major lag issues in game. When fighting my character at times goes into slow motion, and definitely happens when I enter doorways, archways, gates, hop a fence, etc… Also lagging when in areas where camera has to zoom in because of being in side a dungeon or building and such. There are a few in game that have said they are having that same issue today. So just want to let you know. I have never had any issues playing this game till about 2 hours ago.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: It is hard to know if you are killing things or they are killing you.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No not really has been going on about 2 hours now.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: This I cannot give not sure how to do a video for it.
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just keep playing and fighting and it just happens
  • When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone) Today 11/11/2022 started about 9am MST.

I apologize for this lag issue you are experiencing while playing.

For the basic troubleshooting, please check Windows updates and verify your PC is not downloading anything while playing. Then proceed to verify the integrity of game files on Steam, and try to open a forwarding port for the game, follow the instructions here.


If your issue persists after all these steps, contact AGS customer support for further assistance.

Please make sure to add the DxDiag and Gamelogs through a sharing link from a Cloud Storage like Google Drive to the support report; instructions for generating a DXdiag:

It is the game if you look at replies to the forum area where I also posted part of this issue others are having the same issues. I just want to make sure that you are aware. Thanks and hope you had a great veterans day.
