can anyone assist me in getting a smoother game play this last 2-3 weeks my game is very laggy and before it was working fine
When you say “laggy”, are you referring to connection issues in which your position seems to reset frequently back to where you were a few seconds ago, while trying to move in any direction (rubber-banding)? Or are you referring to choppy FPS on your system, where your game seems to drop or miss frames?
Based on your response I can provide some suggestions.
yes its very choppy ive had my task manager open and no extra resources are used when it happens wich makes me think its something to do with the game setting are also on low. a few months ago i was able to run it on very high no problems
I have encountered similar problems. My character is on Abaton now and I didn’t have any troubles there until they merged some servers. Now it’s a pain due to ping inconsistency, it can hop from 50-60 to 300-400, and even 999 sometimes. Haven’t played the last 3 -4 weeks because of this. Throwing hatchets and hitting somebody on the move is almost impossible when this shitshow starts. I’ve checked my ping and internet constantly, and it was fine. Feels like potato servers are the reason…
Last few days been the same for me, I’ve noticed that the “Input Latency” value is being effected by both my internet and when my GPU or CPU throttles.
If my GPU or CPU throttle my Input latency value spikes if my Internet lag spikes the value spikes it’s hard to accurately fix the issue when the value that is only supposed to measure my ping connection is being effected by several factors.
AGS make it make sense ???
dunno about the GPU issue. I cap the game fps at 60 and my 3070 doesn’t even get warm…felt more like a provider problem, but repeated checks didn’t show any internet drops when the game was messing with freezes and character teleports.
