Laptop crashing minutes after playing game

Ok so I fixed my problem with the laptop crashing when starting game, but now after playing the game and quiting it my laptop will crash and restart, I get all kinds of screens, from violet to pink to green. This happens like 20-30 minutes after quitting the game. There arent no crashlogs at my appdata ags folder. My gpu is a gtx 1080 and I cant limit the power since it appears to be locked. I honestly dont want to play the game anymore untill this is all fixed. Dont want to risk my machine I use to work/classes.

Temperatures are always between 60-75c when playing, no ocs, nothing done. Running everything at default settings, no undervolts to cpu, changes to clock speeds, nothing. Laptop is repasted every 4-6 months with a high end cooler master paste. No other game does this to the laptop and I play (rdr2, no mans sky, fallout 76, gta v, fifa, madden, New microsoft flight sim).

sounds like a nvidia issue to me

Do you know any solution? Im up to date with drivers

only solution there is: Wait for Nvidia, Radeon and AGS to figure out a solution.

While I can play normally, is it recommended?? I dont want to fry my laptop, but Im actually enjoying the game alot.

my dude when it comes to computers, in my self-experienced situations, it is best to set it aside before you do irreversible harm to a pc. My mom, for example, told me her pc was quiet and kept shutting off after she turned it on 15 times in a row.
A 10 dollar cpu fan turned into a 250 dollar cpu+motherboard combo

there is an nvidia driver update yesterday, that is including new world optimizations try to check it out in your geforce experience bro

I totally agree with you, wont keep risking my pc untill this gets fixed. Guess Ill go back to swtor

I believe thats the driver that got me past the amazon logo without the laptop restart. I updated it yesterday at night but now Im having this problem. Worst of all is that I got a generic reply at my previous post saying to send my crash logs but there arent none

have you tried fresh instalation?

I downloaded and reinstalled the game 3 times now, first on nvme ssd (before driver update), again on hdd (before driver update), and again on nvme ssd with the new driver(I got it working but I think it was because I ran everything on lowest 768p). Im honestly scared to keep testing.

i mean nvidia driver, there is fresh installation option

What do you mean with fresh install?

Hello guys
To reset your driver software to the default settings:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
  2. Click Manage 3D Settings.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Restore Defaults.

Then to update your video drivers, go to Nvidia Support.
